Urige und gemütliche Ferienhaus gleich außerhalb der Stadtgrenzen der Highlands, North Carolina. Ferienhaus in ruhiger, sechs-home Entwicklung nur 2. 8 Meilen von der Main Street. Unsere Nachbarschaft ist auf Buck Creek Road, die am Highway 64 kurz vor dem Krankenhaus ist.

Unser Haus liegt direkt neben VRBO Listing 696.793 und VRBO Listing 240.972 liegt.

Neu renoviert und mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten (zentrale Wärme / Luft, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Whirlpool, Kabel-TV, Gas-Starter für den Kamin, Hochgeschwindigkeitsinternet, etc.). Große Terrasse, die rund um die Seite des Hauses umschließt. Sie können die rauschenden Wasser des Baches aus dem Deck zu hören und alle Schlafzimmer.

Im Obergeschoss hat Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem extra langen Einzeltagesbett, großes Bad mit Doppel-Waschtisch. Unten hat Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, Wohnküche, Wintergarten mit Stapel Kamin mit Gas-Starter, große Terrasse mit Whirlpool wickelt sich um das Haus.

Exactly what I wanted in Highlands, NC. Great price. Dog friendly. 2 bedrooms. Wood burning (or gas starter) fireplace. Great WI-FI. Garrard was quick to reply to my questions and had locals to help with anything we needed. Very nice upstairs bedroom & bathroom. Very clean. The den is narrow, but 2 sofas and chairs were very comfortable. We had no trouble parking; we were the only people in this group of 5 homes. The deck would have been very nice to enjoy, (You can hear the nearby creek), but the weather was cold while we were there. An easy eight minute drive into downtown Highlands or a little further to Cashiers. Grateful for a very affordable long weekend in this beautiful area and for a very accommodating host.

This is our third time staying in the highlands and each time we have stayed here. It is an amazing location with plenty of privacy, yet close to fantastic dinner spots. Garrard is a very communicative host. Already looking forward to our next stay!

This house is adorable & Garrard was a great host! There was a slight parking issue (no fault of the host), and he made sure to contact me and have someone waiting to guide us to where we needed to parkIt was the perfect cozy place for a girl's weekend with my best friend and the house is close to all the shops & restaurants in Highlands as well as the wonderful waterfall trails

Location is close enough to downtown Highlands but feels like you’re further on the mountain. Place was clean but could use a few updated small kitchen appliances. The deck is large & relaxing as you can hear a nearby brook.Living room area very narrow. Tight parking area.

Tree House Deck

Minutes from town, close to Chashier, access to multiple hiking paths with gorgeous views. The house is simple but clean and comfortable. Large deck wraps around half of house and you feel like you are in a tree house. Enjoyed end of day soak in the hot tub.

Everything we needed for a long weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s not a far drive from town and was convenient to my son who only lives a mile down the road. Had a little confusion on check out time since VRBO had two different times and refrigerator had conflicting info as well. The owner was super nice and understanding, but make sure you confirm if unsure. The property is a little quirky, and smaller living room area may not have worked for a longer stay, but very clean and kitchen was fully stocked to have a nice family meal together.

Perfect home for our needs

Everything was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was very nice. Great location between Highlands and Cashiers. Just far enough off the main road to make it quiet and peaceful, but not too far to feel out of the way.

Nice place that we booked for 4 nights and were only able to stay night 1 due to emergency and had to head home. contacted owner if partial refund was possible. No reply. So it was an expensive one night stay but will definitely book again when we re-visit

We enjoyed our stay at Garrard's property in Highlands. The location was excellent. We loved the porch overlooking the woods; unfortunately we didn't have lots of time to spend there. The house could use a little refurbishing, but it had everything we needed!

Fantastically located and well-equipped

We came to Highlands for a wedding weekend. Luckily we found this great place a short drive out of town and about 1.5 mi from the venue. We loved the expansive deck and hot tub as well as the generally serene setting. Details we loved — comfy beds, well functioning equipment (washer/dryer, keypad, ice maker, windows that easily open and close), and a kitchen stocked with things you want on hand like coffee filters, salt, pots and pans, Etc. Just note the house is quite close to others so you’ll hear your neighbors and perhaps some traffic from the nearby road. We’d all stay again happily

Peacful and Quiet Mountain Retreat!

Loved this vacation rental that we've enjoyed for two summers in a row! The back and side porch overlooks the woods and you can hear a distant stream. Very peacful. Hottub is a plus. Needed to communicate something with the owner and received an immediate response. Parking on the side is tight, but manageable. Will stay again!

I bought my house in Highlands as an investment. The town of Highlands continues to grow and attract a sophisticated yet casual group of successful visitors and home owners. The Highlands community is very cordial and offers everything from live theater to antique shopping and other great retail stores. Highlands Main Street has been called the Worth Avenue of the mountains. Main Street offers everything from screw drivers to fine dining to estate jewelry and home accessories.

High Cotton Cottage offers many great benefits to enjoy during your stay. The cottage is located on a hill which over looks Buck Creek. You can hear the soothing sounds of the creek from my decks and many rooms of the house. The cottage is very cozy and has a stone fireplace with a gas starter. The hot tub on the rear of the house looks off into the woods for total relaxation and enjoyment. The cottage is located in a private neighborhood owned by a group of five families who are all friends.
