There is a boat dock, equipped with mooring connections - so you may bring your boat if you have one. A public boat ramp is located nearby. An elevated screened porch extends 2/3 of the way around the house and contains a fire-pit, lounge chairs, platform rockers, and an outside dining table for 6. Ideal for socializing, gazing at the water, or simply dreaming!

The exterior setting is complimented by a modern contemporary large open-concept living space with a fully equipped kitchen (that even includes a pot filler by the stove and coffee makers), plus a dishwasher and laundry facilities. It has 2 large bedrooms, BOTH with their own en-suite bathrooms. The beautiful master bedroom faces the creek and the woods. There is also a fold-out sofa for additional guests.

This delightful vacation home is near greater Jacksonville, but it feels like a world apart. It is located at the end of the road and down a 1/10 mile curving lighted driveway through the woods - with a lockable gate for added privacy. Although secluded, this delightful home-away-from-home is only a short distance from restaurants, fast-food places, pharmacies, supermarkets - and even emergency services, i.e. everything you might want or need for a few days to a few weeks retreat.

We have strict NO PETS and NO SMOKING policies. Those restrictions are essential to make the home available and desirable to everyone who may have any sensibility to such issues.

Events/parties are strictly prohibited (unless permission is granted in advance, in which case there may perhaps be a special usage fee). A party/event is any time the guest count exceeds the number of guests registered/declared at time of booking.

If you need to request early arrival or late departure outside of standard rental terms, please make a special request when inquiring initially. This may or many not be granted because of time constraints imposed upon our housekeeping services who will be cleaning after previous guests or preparing for next guests arrival. If such is granted be aware that there very possibly may be extra charges imposed depending upon the length of time requested.
