30 people comfortably fit, A wonderful spacious home with two grand porches that overlook the canal with access to the Saint Johns river. Amazing kitchen perfect for cooking for large families! Park your boat and take it to the Stadium only 45 minutes away from Downtown Jacksonville by boat! 6 Bedrooms and a bedroom loft with two couches and a double bed bunk bed to accommodate everyone comfortably! There are two bedrooms with king size beds on the firstfloor. One of the bedrooms downstairs has an en-suitebathroom. The second en-suitebathroom is attached to the master bedroom upstairs. An ADDITIONAL LOFT with a king size bed and a queen bed and 85” tv with an insuite bathroom is available for $250 per stay.

A beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious property.The back porch was our favorite place to gather for visiting and viewing the canal activities. It has a claw footed tub in the Jack and Jill bathroom. A large game room is on the second floor. Also many extra beds are available. The kitchen is well appointed with every possible need close at hand.

The host was very good at communicating prior to the stay. We had everything we needed and everything was clean and welcoming! For future stays, this is a 7 bdrm home with an optional loft for an additional rate during your stay, making both 8 rooms. I thought it was 8 bdrms plus a loft for additional rate. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything we needed was readily available! The backyard is beautiful and the screened in porch was a huge hit for the family to sit and chat while looking out the dock. The big “bonus room” with bunk beds was perfect for the kids as well! Would definitely stay again!

Gene came to the rescue after a previous venue cancelled a reservation a week before the planned date.His house comfortably hosted all 20 of us.The cabinets and switches in the living room and kitchen area was all clearly marked.Beds were comfortable, and the bunk bed mattresses are larger than expected.The location was quiet yet convenient.Gene himself was very responsive as a host, answering all of our questions and concerns in a prompt manner.This is definitely a venue I would reserve again for a future event.

The house had the perfect amount of holiday decor for our large family gathering for Christmas. Beds for everyone! It was well stocked with consumables such as trash bags, shampoo, toilet paper, etc., This included several coffee serving options with various sweeteners and honey, from a full brewing pot to a single-serve Keurig. If you plan on cooking for a large group, be sure to bring coolers, as there is only one full size fridge. The host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to have an opportunity to stay again. Highly recommend.

Memorable Stay

We came from out of town and stayed in the area because of my son's wedding at a nearby venue. Throughout the long weekend this big, beautiful home allowed us to share numerous get-togethers with different members of our extended family. It was the perfect setting for such an occasion, simply memorable!

We live in the same neighborhood as the property and had all our children and grandchildren visiting. This property helped us enjoy a relaxed time making those memories! Half the group stayed at the rental for comfortable sleeping and quiet time! We were able to run daily activities from our home base!

Magical wedding reception

Gene and Maya were very kind and flexible and really went abovr and beyond to allow us to have the first event held at the home. My family was so comfortable staying here and the view of the canal was priceless. I couldn't have had a better wedding ceremony! We are forever grateful!

Our family had a great time celebrating our dad’s 89th birthday! 18 of us traveled from North Carolina. Being able to stay in the same house made our stay extra special. The house was clean and centrally located. Gene and Maya are easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. Very nice people.

Overall, this home worked well for our large, multigenerational group attending a wedding in the area. The outdoor porch and living space were spacious and allowed us to gather comfortably, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped.That said, there are A FEW IMPORTANT DISCREPANCIES in the listing that future renters should be aware of. As noted in other reviews (which we unfortunately missed prior to booking), the main house does not have 8 bedrooms. There are 7 bedrooms in the main house, with additional sleeping space in a loft area over the garage which must be purchased for an additional charge (to total 8 bedrooms). The optional rental space above the garage for an extra charge has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and a couch that does not make into a bed (In the ad, it was listed as 1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 futons ). While the detailed description does mention the main house loft setup (couches and a bunk), the summary at the top of the listing is misleading and gave us a different expectation when booking (as it stated there were 2 queen sofa beds vs 2 couches with no option for a bed.) The bathroom count is also a bit unclear. There are 4.5 bathrooms in the main house and 1 additional bathroom in the loft/garage space. Because we planned for 8 separate bedrooms, this misrepresentation made sleeping arrangements more challenging than expected, and some guests had to share rooms unexpectedly.In addition, while the home has great potential, we were disappo

Graduation week

Our great nephew graduated and the home was in the perfect location close to my nephew. The house was spotless and had every amenity imaginable.My nephew picked us up with his boat at the private boat dock located at the house. We all enjoyed the game room playing air hockey. The beds were fabulous and we will definitely be back.

The property was absolutely perfect from all angles. The house upon arrival was absolutely spotless not a dust bunny anywhere. The layout, the size , the labeled drawers the bouquet of flowers on counter the quantity of games the feeling of home was spot on. There was one roll of toilet paper in the whole house. There were 5 bathrooms in the main house.The outside patio area was not clean at all. I spent hours cleaning it because we hosted a Wedding Rehearsal luncheon. The outside carpet and outside furniture was very stained and embarrassing to host. The lawn was not cut and tons of weeds. There were empty garbage cans at curb and full garage cans not put out that smelled terrible. I put the cans in and out. Disappointing for the cost of the stay.
