Born to a German father and Uruguayan mother (Basque roots), was raised in Argentina, Trinidad, Uruguay, Afghanistan and Perú, when I turned 17 I left home to go to college in the UK. A Global Nomad, with a very unique upbringing, have seen things few people have, that chiseled me to be the person I am today. Growing up all over the world teaches you to appreciate the richness of different races, religions, languages and cultures. I'm sharing my home, for you to enjoy Madrid's cafes and streets full of life, it's formidable culture and history!

A happening, hip, lively, gay friendly neighborhood, littered with cozy sidewalk cafes, tapas bars, restaurants, clothing stores, as well as boutiques, and popular markets like San Antón and Plaza del 2 de Mayo, a historic square lined with lively bars and weekend market stalls, a popular meeting spot. It’s home to the Museum of Romanticism, the Museum of the History of Madrid, and several performing arts theaters. At night, edgy dance and rock clubs host live bands and DJs, and the Conde Duque cultural center shows art and open-air movies in its 18th-century halls and courtyards.

The apartment had great amenities including laundry facilities, effective AC, fast WIFI and a fully stocked kitchen. Upon check-in, Isbelia was kind enough to provide us with great recommendations on things to do in the city, restaurants to visit and general directions on how to navigate the city. The King bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the window shutters were perfect for letting in the sunlight in the morning and blocking out all street noise at night. Hosts Isabella and Rudy were wonderful providing us tons of recommendations and checked in on us the first few days to ensure we are well settled. I highly recommend this place for cleanliness, roominess, convenience, great place to stay and be in the middle of city! Very convenient to get to most sites...we walked almost everywhere.
