This place was awesome and a great location. Sugar Loaf Chalet is a great neighborhood. The location close to Sleeping bear dunes, and the beach at Good Harbor was awesome for us.All communications were great and the week was amazing!

We are so glad your week was amazing, Andre. Sugar Loaf is a special neighborhood, and it is wonderful to hear Sleeping Bear Dunes and the beach at Good Harbor made for such a great base. We would love to welcome you back to the Sugarloaf Chalet.

This was a nice place to stay! Not fancy but lots of room to spread out and everything was clean. The kitchen and first floor living room were especially nice and the bedrooms were nicely sized. The host was very easy to communicate with. Great location.

Bachelorette Trip

The property location was great! Really close to many Leelanau wineries and Suttons Bay. The amenities were nice, especially in the kitchen.

Extended family trip

Great location for our family gathering. Everything was as described. The kids loved the loft area and games, stories and toys. Great space to gather together.

Cozy and spacious!

We booked this house for a 40th birthday getaway and it was great! Lots of space, plenty of beds, stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and comfortable living spaces. Our favorite part was the fireplace in the living room. It was so cozy! We were close to Maple City and Glen Arbor for hiking, curling, shopping, and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this house.

Comfortable home for our family, baby, and dogs. The positives are definitely the layout and bed sizes/comfortability. The kitchen was in great shape as well. The hot tub was a major plus! The deck furniture should be replacedā€”it was broken down to the point that it could not be used. And the entire area surrounding the house is full of plants with burrs so you have to be super cautious when you let dogs out or they will come back covered. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and were very comfortable in the house.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback about your stay. We are so glad the layout, the beds and the hot tub made the home comfortable for your family, and we appreciate you pointing out the worn deck furniture and the burrs in the plants around the house. Your notes help us care for the property, and we hope to welcome you back to Sugarloaf Chalet soon. Warmly, Christian and the True North team

Fun but poor communication

Overall, we had a great time the home is in the woods and the backyard is great! We did have a couple issues with the house though, the major one being that the grill that was available was a safety hazard for us. 2/3 grill plates were completely broken and the 3rd one was rusting, it ended up catching on fire which was a safety hazard. Itā€™s really hard to get in touch with the owner and the property management company does not respond when you try to call them.
