Tipton Run Lodge: Luxurious Log Cabin

We are located only 1 mile from Delgrosso’s Amusement Park, 20 minutes from Altoona, PA and attractions, and only 35 minutes from Penn State University!

The first floor has a large living room with a fireplace and vaulted ceilings, a large eat-in kitchen, a full luxurious spa-like bathroom with clawfoot tub, large glass shower with two rainfall shower heads, double vanity, heated floors and a heated towel rack, as well as a primary bedroom with a king-size bed.

The second floor can be accessed via spiral staircase which leads to a loft area with two twin beds, and an additional bedroom that boasts queen-sized bed and an ensuite full bathroom with shower.

Behind the house, you will find a beautiful stone patio with an outdoor fire ring. This is truly a beautiful and serene location that is perfect for any couple looking for a romantic spot or a family looking for a place to get away!

*Tipton Run Lodge is located behind a small townhome community. Guests should expect to drive through the community upon arrival. However, the Tipton Run Lodge sits on private property enclosed within a 10 ft fence. You will be given a gate code prior to your arrival. Gate code is changed with each set of guests. Very private and quiet!



Tipton Run Lodge Rental Agreement:
When renting the Tipton Run Lodge, you as the guest and all your attendees, guests, family members, and/or any other persons on the premises are agreeing to the following terms:

Property: Tipton Run Lodge, 135 Greg St, Tyrone PA, 16686

Responsible Party: Persons who agree to the VRBO terms and anyone who occupies Tipton Run Lodge or property at any time have agreed to and are obligated to these terms.

Pets: No pets or any animals are allowed on the premises inside or outside for any reason at any time. Failure to abide will result in a fee of $200 or more and early termination of the reservation.

Arrival and Departure Times:
Check-in is at 3:00 pm EST and Check-out is 11:00 am EST.
Early check-ins are possible when scheduled a minimum of two days ahead of time. The fee is $25 for each hour you arrive before 3pm EST.
Late check-outs are not allowed. A fee of $50 will be charged for each hour after 11:00 AM EST.

Access: Guests agree to allow access to every space for any and all maintenance and inspection personnel for any purpose at any time.
Lockout charge - $40

Smoking, Alcohol, Parties:
Absolutely No alcohol or drugs on the premises.
Absolutely No smoking inside the house or within 15 feet of the building. A fee of $10 is charged for every cigarette butt found on the ground.
Absolutely No wild parties, loud noises, dangerous situations, or obnoxious behavior.
Failure to abide will result in a fee of $200 or more and early termination of the reservation.
Any complaints from the neighbors will result in immediate eviction.

Prohibited Uses:
*Use of any chainsaws, power saws, or cutting of firewood
*Riding ATV's, UTV’s, golf carts, etc.
*Entering the wooded area more than 10 ft at any time for any reason
*Building fires in places other than the designated location
*Burning trash, rubber, plastic, Styrofoam, etc.
*Anything that kills the grass
*Pools, tarps, tents, swing sets, trampolines
*Littering
*Yard signs or political signs
*Grills within 10 ft of any building or fence, when in use
*Shooting any type of firearm, BB gun, pellet gun, paintball gun, fireworks
*Disposing food, wood, Christmas trees, ashes, trash, etc., in wooded area or creek or anywhere besides the dumpster
*Loud exhaust or sound systems that disturb the peace and quiet
*Driving or parking any vehicles on grass at any time
*Driving over 10 mph anywhere on the property
*Driving without a valid driver’s license
*Any vehicle not legally inspected or registered
*Anyone underage operating a motor vehicle of any type on the property
*Parking of trailers, boats, campers, extra vehicles, etc. without approval
*Ice skating or swimming in pond on the premises
*Putting anything in the water except for provided kayak, canoe, and/or bait for fish
*Moving or changing the pond fountain in any way
*Wandering off the property. Trails/driveways leading to other parts of the property are off limits!
*Climbing trees or installing nails or screws in the trees
*Cutting or trimming any flower or tree for any reason

Failure to abide will result in a fee of $200 or more and early termination of the reservation.

Liability: Tipton Run Lodge does not assume any responsibility for any injuries or claims due to neglect or lack of supervision of any of the parties during or after their stay.

Departure: Furniture must be in the exact location it was upon your arrival. Everything should be left exactly as you found it. Dishes should be washed, counters wiped down, all trash taken to the dumpster, and all windows and doors locked. Cleaning fee is based on general light cleaning. All extra cleaning will result in a charge of $75 per hour.

Damage: Any damage to the house, furniture, appliances, yard, driveway, or any other items or land owned by Tipton Run Lodge will result in a charge of $75 per hour plus materials and/or replacement cost of that item.

Lost and Found: You will be notified by the same communication method as when you booked the reservation. You will have 24 hours to respond and 48 hours from the first point of contact to claim your items before they become the property of Tipton Run Lodge.

Exclusion of Liability: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE IN ANY MANNER FOR ANY USER IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF TIPTON RUN LODGE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAWS WE, ON BEHALF OF OUR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, EXCLUDE AND DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSSES AND EXPENSES OF WHATEVER NATURE AND HOWSOEVER ARISING INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS CAUSED BY VIRUS. YOU ASSUME TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ESTABLISHING SUCH PROCEDURES. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER BASIS.
