Great Getaway

Less than 10 minutes into town, this property was not only beautiful but a perfect location with privacy and convenience. The property owner/manager was very communicative when answering questions before during and after booking. The house was clean and well kept, and was the perfect setting for a girls weekend getaway.

We had a most enjoyable time. The home is beautiful and very well equipped in the kitchen and certainly comfortable throughout. Rooms are spacious and roomy with an abundance of TV's throughout. The balcony is wonderful, the grills are great, and the outdoor pool area is fabulous. To note, there are a number of steps to get between levels, but it was great to share our mulit-generational gathering.

Long Weekend in the Hamptons

This beautiful home was spotless, well equipped and matched all the photos on the VRBO site. Detailed instructions and recommendations were provided in advance and at the site. The home was a short drive to a well-stocked market and the village of Sag Harbor filled with great restaurants and boutiques. Central to explore the other villages in the Hamptons and Montauk. A visit to the Hamptons has always been on my bucket list and we all had a wonderful time!

Best Stay for Family, Friends & Celebrations

This property was incredible for entertaining the 7yr old to the 70yr old in our family. It is teenager approved which says a lot (in his words, the pool was awesome). Beautiful interior and exterior. And the pics match the reality. Great for groups of friends or family gatherings. We will be back!

Beautiful house with ample room. Spotlessly clean. Owner very accommodating, allowing an early arrival so we wouldn’t be rushed for the wedding rehearsal. Had to text the property manager with one question during the stay and got reply within minutes. Very comfortable house.

End of Summer Vacation

We spent the last week of summer here with our family. My husband and I were able to easily work from the home while our boys enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space and pool all week long. This is a great house for families. Everything was in impeccable order. We have a wonderful and fun stay.

Absolutely wonderful

We did a little celebration with the girls and wanted to stay in a place that had everything you needed and this place had more! The place was just as it looked in the photos. There was enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and to congregate. Our group especially liked the pool and sauna. The host was also really great at communicating. 10 out of 10!

Christmas Weekend

My family and i enjoyed our stay at the house. We were there from December 22 - 26. The house was accuratly described and was vet syitable for our christmas celebration. The open floor plan made it easy for us to gather around the kitchen to prepare and enjoy our meals. The hiuse was fully sticked with all appliances abd house wares. The host was very accessibke and made the rental process very easy. Please note there are several flights of stairs from the garage to the top floor. Overall i highly recommended renting the property.

Dishonest and Unhelpful Property Manager

The property has potential, but it was not guest-ready. Outdoor areas were cluttered with old furniture, toys, and broken items. The garage and fridge had personal belongings, and broken baby-proofing was left throughout.Inside, TVs and sound systems were unplugged or miswired. Help was minimal, we were told to check manuals or wait days for a technician. One issue wasn’t acknowledged for two days, by which point someone in our group had fixed it.We booked this home after careful research, confirming key details with the host beforehand, including that the pool would be open, heated, and fenced. He provided written confirmation.Upon arrival, the pool was closed, not heated, and had no fence, with no warning. When we asked, the host was rude and dismissive, claiming “all pools in the Hamptons are closed until May” and denying his previous messages before later backtracking.The 5th bedroom/office had no duvet, so we had to buy one. Also, large portable AC units in each room, not shown in the listing, taking up significant space. The home has good features and could be a great rental with better care, but our experience with the host was very disappointing.Additionally, after reporting our concerns to VRBO, Christian responded with false claims of mess. We left the home spotless - trash removed, dishes done, towel load started - but he refused to provide any evidence.We rarely leave negative reviews, but we hope this helps future renters make an informed choice.

Hi Chana, thank you for your message and your candor. We appreciate your feedback. To address several issues for future guests reading this review: 1) The weather was in the 30’s, so our pool company recommended not opening the pool (though we did attempt to!) This was fully disclosed to her prior to booking. 2). There is a fence around the entire backyard, which includes the pool - and there are also door alarms on all doors accessing the pool area, for child safety 3) Based on guest feedback, we have installed extra HVAC units in each bedroom, so as to help with the heat and humidity of the summers, so that each guest can set the room how they wish, this is in addition to the 3 zone central air in the home 4) Our lack of response for two full days was per the request of this guest, who was observing a holiday. It was unfortunate that the issue they ran into was during this time. Chana, we do take your feedback seriously and appreciate your honesty - and we hope your family enjoyed your stay otherwise. Top Floor Family, Kitchen and Dining in the treehouse

Property owner/manager responded quickly with information about the AC. We were able to use the house when we arrived early. There was an abundance of white towels. The washing machine and dryer were convenient. The location was close to Sag Harbor. The landscaping and pool area are well maintained. However, the sprinkler sytem came on after 4 every day and you couldn't sit near the tables or the lounge chairs. The alarm system beeped every morning and had to be silenced. The lower level (basement) with the two bedrooms(one, a study) was damp and hot without air circulation. Our family members were not comfortable. The stairway up to the top floor (eating, dining and living area) became a problem with groceries and taking out the garbage. The deck off of the top floor is nice, like being in a tree house. I hope that the owner considers replacing the umbrella, table and chairs. The dishwasher needs to be replaced. It doesn't clean the dishes or glassware. Some information could be left about the lighting on the top floor. It's strange to see power strips for small appliances on the counter in a newly "renovated" rental property The cookware is very old and should be replaced. At the end of the block there was construction/crews on two homes. The rental property is pet friendly, a big plus and allowed us to rent for a shorter period of time and not for the season. I wish that I had had a better understanding of the layout of the rooms and knew more about the stairway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is immaculately clean and even more inviting than the pictures depict. The 360 views on second floor living/entertaining space make you feel like you are staying in a treehouse—it’s magical. House is well-equipped, owners are responsive and check in/out was a breeze. Wonderful family rental

Stayed here with our family of four for five days through Labor Day. The house is newly renovated and everything is in pristine condition. The house is wired with the newest technology and we had music playing throughout the house during our stay. We also made great use of the electric fire pit which was a great way to spend family time. It's located on a quiet cul de sac, which was a great place to teach our kids how to bike ride away from car traffic. The owners were very accessible. We would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home in Sag Harbor

Stayed here with friends and family and truly enjoyed our weekend. This beautiful 5 bedroom newly renovated home is perfect. Every detail is pristine with wonderful outdoor space. The pool and fire pit allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. There is a large deck off of the kitchen area with stunning furniture and a grill, making it easy to bbq and enjoy family time. Each bedroom and bathroom are brand new and perfectly decorated. The home is extremely clean with everything you can think of to make your weekend stay fun ! Thank you to the wonderful owners who are always accessible by phone / text to answer any question . Can’t wait to return in the fall!

Gorgeous home, awesome amenities, I'd recommend over and over!

My family and I searched for a number of homes on HomeAway and other sites and decided upon this one initially because of its convenience to the town of Sag Harbor, beaches, etc. Upon arrival, we were very impressed by the home - the pics on this site do not do it justice. This place is a brand new gut renovated home with everything you would need for a family or for entertaining. Gorgeous kitchen/living area, the bedrooms were spotless (and the beds were soooo comfy!), and the pool area made for some amazing days! We stayed at the home more than we planned - cooked in, grilled out, lounged in the atrium area for shade, had breakfast in the mornings on the upper deck...really, it was all just lovely. It was minutes from town, so we got to enjoy several great restaurants - one of our faves was Tutto il Giorno. So many good ones tho! Sagg Main Beach was like a 15 minute drive and then Wolffer Estate was about 10 minutes. So easy to get to so many cool places! We did have questions on the security system and contacted the owner for it. He answered the call right away and helped us through it. The service was impeccable. I'd recommend for any family or group of friends to rent this home...and we will definitely be rebooking next year!
