Welcome to Sunrise Cove, your ideal retreat for an unforgettable vacation with your extended family. Situated on the picturesque west side of Petenwell Lake, this spacious waterfront property offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Wake up to breathtaking views of Petenwell Lake from the full deck facing the water. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or watching the sun set over the horizon, the beauty of the lake is sure to inspire awe and wonder.

Sunrise Cove has 240' of shoreline … with 2 acres of pines and woods and yard for the privacy and peace you seek. Features a sandy cove in front of the home (access via ladder from pier next door), and a boat launch and small private beach just up the road. Boats may be anchored in the cove during the day— to be removed each night. This home sits on an excellent location of the lake — near Wilderness Park. Enjoy a game of sand volleyball or horseshoes. Star gaze and gather around the warmth of the groomed campfire pit.

Sunrise Cove is 3500 sq' ... this large home consists of 7 bedrooms, 3 baths, open living room / dining room (extra large dining room table), stone fireplace/ entertainment area, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and extra den area in lower level overlooking the lake. Ceramic & brick tile in the great room with carpeting in the center, and central air. There are two oversized decks ... one spanning the entire lakeside of the home, and one overlooking the front drive/woods. The master bedroom (facing the lake) has a master bath; another bath off the main living area; and the lower level bedrooms and living quarters share a large bath, laundry area and a home office. Truly a beautiful home … with trapezoid windows and French doors which expand the entire living room overlooking the lake! Sunrise Cove is built on the open concept with cathedral ceiling in the living room, dining room and kitchen as one large room.

Not good this time

We’ve been your clients for the last 10-12 years and this is the first time we were not happy with our stay. There was hair on some of the bed sheets , there was animal hairs on couches and pillows , there were mice constantly running thru the walls disturbing people sleep , bed covers and window shades were very dusty and there were lots of tick, not only outside but also inside. We had to remove ticks from our kids skin and one of the two kids never been outside . We love your cabins and we will come back but not at this one , at least till all these issues are addressed. Some of the guests wanted to leave early because of all the above issues. Location is great. This was the 3rd time we rented this cabin but the first time complaining.

Sunrise Cove - July2023

We just left Sunrise Cove last week, and loved our week there. We love the space, being our second year there, and this year appreciated the easier access to the cove for kayaks and paddleboards! Always love the ample games/puzzles. Also, we felt you should know a few things about Sunrise Cove: - Both refrigerators need to have their water filters replaced, and the one on the exterior wall isn't cooling enough - consistently reading at 58 degrees, despite our attempts to reduce it. - The grill igniter doesn't work and gas tank shut off sticks significantly - needed a wrench to close it (on the working grill; the other one didn't have a tank) - The upstairs common bathroom shower could really use a bath mat for safety - very slippery for my elderly mom - Directions for the living room fan/light would be helpful; we couldn't figure out how to operate the light without the fan or vice versa, or run the fan at different speeds. - There was a wooden framed photo in the master bathroom that was knocked off the wall and broke. We attempted to fix it, but were unable to. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks again for a wonderful week! ***Thank you for choosing to stay with Cottage Keeper. We appreciate your feedback! We will have our maintenance team address grill ignitor and provide a bath mat. Sunrise

The house was great for having the whole family together. Two of the things that need attention are the windows are filthy and the AC needs maintenance. Even though we turned the air-conditioner on and let it run all night we would have it set at 74, 24 hours, and the house would warm up to 79 by 3pm. We had drapes ,windows and doors closed just we do at our homes. Phil. The rate is not the rate we would give our experience I was required we d yo pick a rate to send my comments. Phil.
