Confusion of check in. Unit was different than one offered, due to scheduling mix up. Host made arrangement for accommodations in another unit in the same complex. Condo staff was very personable and helpful during our stay. Recommended for a quiet stay, conveniently located with a beautiful view and a zero G pool with an ocean view.

Excellent experience for our whole family. Out little grandfishes would hardly leave the pool. The house and grounds are kept in fine condition by a staff and manager who have cared for the property for years inside, the house the decorating is cheerful and there are wonderful sea views from the upper floors. Akumel is a small town that offers limited tourist venues, but it was enough for us. In seven days we left town once to visit Tulum. The beach in front of the house he’s little traffic as it is rocky and hard for little children to navigate, but the adults enjoyed exploring it.

Many activities to be had just within walking distance as well as great choices in restaurants La Buena Vida was our favorite.

Great location!

Located between two popular beaches that are walking distance. Property was exactly as described. Communication with owners was clear and lots of detailed information on stay, places to eat, and things to do.

Impeccable!

This condo is impeccably decorated, homey, and peaceful. The staff is great. The views are great, the location is great. We have stayed at several condos in Half-Moon Bay and this one is by far the nicest and the best value for money!

Great stay at Mi Casa del Mar

Had a wonderful trip with the family at Mi Casa del Mar. Property opens up to the pool which we really enjoy. Patio area was covered which helped get out of the sun and enjoy coffee in the morning. Place was large for a rental. Enjoyed all the movies they had at night. Would stay again

A Piece of Heaven!

We have been coming to Akumal for almost 20 years now. Mi Casa Del Mar is a wonderful condo, with a great location! The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great place to relax. Comfortable rooms and patio beside pool. Can walk to beach and restaurants. Lots of good information from owner, except directions to get there should say take Playa akumal exit from 307 then go past arches to north akumal.

In looking at them, I was more clear about warning you about the speed-bumps before pedestrian overpass at the Playa Akumal (Akumal Beach) turn-off ! We're glad you appreciated the documents we sent including "what to see and do", "shuttles, rental cars and directions", "cooking and shopping", "our Akumal restaurant guide", "last minute stuff" and "rules of the building". These seem to be helpful to many guests.

Great Little Oasis in Akumal

We very much enjoyed this property and would stay here again. The hosts are terrific as is the staff on site. Akumal in June is hot and sticky so we loved the pool and the ocean breeze from the sea. It was clean, quiet, and the air con in the bedrooms kept us cool at night. Charming little place, well equipped, great cleaning service daily, and was very peaceful. Short walk to town, many restaurants etc.

Girls trip

We really enjoyed the pool and close proximity to town. We like to avoid more of the touristy spots and Akumal was very touristy so having a rental car was a must for us to tour around the different beaches and eateries in the area. That being said we looked forward to returning to the condo and lounging by the pool every day, the staff and hosts were easily accessible and very friendly/helpful with any needs or problems that arose. We would absolutely stay again!

Lovely view and pool

This is a quiet condominium right on the water with all the amenities we needed. The pool was gorgeous- overlooking the ocean! Could hear the waves crashing the shore from the terrace. Also, condo is walkable to several restaurants and the Akumal beach club. Had a wonderful time!

Roomy with an open View

We had a wonderful stay at this nicely situated condo. We enjoyed walking out to an infinity pool and spectacular views each morning to watch the sun come up over the ocean. The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner generously offers valuable information regarding the condo and the surrounding area of Akumal. We will be back!

Perfect for the entire family

We loved the staff (Gloria) was out standing. We had a great time by the pool, playing cards on the deck and the condo was set up perfectly. The local restaurants are wonderful. 10/10

Great location, very safe

Hans was so helpful when we wanted to rebook. Friendly with LOADS of information about the area. We liked it so much we came back a week later. Seaweed not bad at this location, but you can't swim from the property. Had everything you need!

Thanks ! We enjoy helping guests make the most of their vacations. As for swimming - we do have the nicest pool anywhere, but it is true that Mi Casa del Mar is on an out-cropping. People can swim on very calm days, but in general we recommend one of the two beaches at Akumal Bay and Half Moon Bay which are five minutes away. Akumal Bay is accessable by a short walk up the beach from our place (for no charge !)

Fantastic! A piece of paradise!

We loved our stay at Hans place! It felt like walking into Paradise. This is a very lovingly taken care of second home with all the amenities you need to enjoy the pool and the beach. Hans was a wonderful communicator and an absolute pleasure to meet, if you’re lucky enough to find dates that work, don’t hesitate and book yourself a place where you will form wonderful memories like I did with my family.
