Host was quick to answer all of our questions prior to trip. House comes with a boat slip so we were able to rent a boat for 4 of the days we were there which was great. We loved being able to enjoy our morning coffee overlooking the water and we were lucky enough to see a dolphin swim by. We would definitely book with Kathy again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Point of View! Walking up to the home, you're greeted by the most beautiful bougainvillea. Then the view from the deck, patio and dock areas takes your breath away! Being right on the water and across from Stocking Island is magical. The home is large, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need and more. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which is wonderful for groups of friends or large families. We enjoyed the central location in February Point. We rented cars and also used some of the host's transportation recommendations to go into Georgetown for dinner. We never used the pools because we absolutely loved swimming and floating from the dock. I can't wait to return!!!!

Wonderful place to stay on Exuma!

Our family of six, 3 generations, had a great time staying at Point of View. Kathy was very communicative before our stay and easily reached if we had a question while we were there. The home was beautiful, very clean, roomy, and had all the toys to keep us busy. The day dock and marina slip were great for our boat rental days! The views were excellent form the balconies and the decks. The pools and the restaurant right in February Point were very close by and enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone going to stay on Exuma!

Kathy was great with helping us understand all that was available on the island. We were communicating before and throughout our stay. She gave us many "Pro-tips" that were invaluable. She helped us have an unforgettable week! As advertised, this place is fantastic. Plenty of room for 4 couples. Bathroom in each bedroom a great plus. Had groceries ready on arrival, highly recommend. Hung out at both beaches, both pools and on our private dock to soak it all in. The Rusty Anchor is great for lunch and dinner. Saw turtles, rays, and plenty of fish from the dock and the beaches. Rented a boat for two days and hit the local haunts; also highly recommended. Would book again!

Great property!

This was an amazing house! There was plenty of room for our two families and the views were amazing. We had groceries delivered before we got there and Luke was great with setting everything up for us! There were power outages on the island, but it was seamless with the full generator there and you never noticed! They were doing water main pipe construction on the island also during our stay, but there was a reserve water tank and the owners were great with communication regarding this! I would definitely recommend Point of View!!!

50th Birthday Celebration

We traveled with 8 couples (rented two houses) for a few of our 50th birthday celebrations. It was an amazing trip. Point of View was the perfect house to rent. Amazing views, well stocked inside and out, great communication and the perfect location. Our other house had a pool but we realized quickly we didn’t need the pool and enjoyed the dock and all water sport toys this home provided. We docked a boat in the slip provided and were able to pick up/ drop off guests at house dock. The water taxi will also pick you up right at the dock. One evening the island lost power. Thankfully Point of View had a generator. We plan to return and stay in this house next time we visit.

Epic location, wonderful property, super helpful owner & manager!

We stayed for a week at POV June/July 2025 and cannot say enough good things about it! The location of the property was perfectly suited - in a gated community with awesome amenities to enjoy (a beautiful restaurant, pool, private beach, a fitness center, pickleball and tennis - and we took advantage of almost all of it!).Kathy (the owner) and Anna (the property manager) were amazing, thorough, timely and attentive in all their communication before and during our stay. They provided TONS of info in advance and answered any and all questions we had during our stay, even reaching out proactively to check in! The listing is incredibly accurate (unlike some listings you find where they used trick angles or the pics are outdated), and the outdoor space was truly awesome - tons of sitting areas and our own private dock! All the rooms were very comfortable, the (much needed at times!) AC was very effective (the property has three separate thermostats!) and the linens were all very nice as well. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and we had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. If visiting Exuma, you will NOT be disappointed with renting this property, I highly recommend Point of View!
Tons of 'toys' come with the property - a kayak, paddle boards, floats, snorkel gear - anything you would need!

Had everything we could possibly need!

Enjoyed this home so much. Great location, wonderful resort with great amenities. But really appreciated the home owner sharing all their beach/vacay toys and supplies. There were ice chests, bug spray, sunscreen, beach blankets, beach toys/paddles, beach chairs, etc… you name it they had it. They could have locked it up like many home owners do but we really appreciate them trusting us with these items. No one wants to pack all of these things. The home was lovely, beds comfy and a/c worked great. All in all would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice place for kids

This property was great stay for people with children. Lots of games and great snorkeling at the dock! I understand that turning the air down too low will freeze the unit up, but it was unbearably hot in the downstairs bedroom and the bedroom directly above. Bring fans!! It is hot and the thermostat is adjusted by the owner. If you turn it down it takes 2 hours to cool down 1 degree. Other than that it was wonderful!

Per the AC: At the time of your stay 2 of our 3 air conditioners malfunctioned, and we have since replaced both of them (with no Home Depot on the island it took longer than we are used to in the US!). We have also added an oscillating floor fan to every bedroom with an extra downstairs, so no need to BYO fans.

A wonderful place, but a few things to be wary of.

We had a marvelous time at this house. Well-kept, owner was proactive and helpful both pre trip and during our stay. Beds were comfy enough, and the house was well-stocked. Having a slip for our rental boat was a major benefit. The only caution flag I have is you do need a rental car. It’s pretty removed from George Town proper, and the only nearby dining is Rusty Anchor, which can easily average $50+ per person for dinner and is closed two days a week. It’s hard to provision for a week’s worth of food from Exuma Markets — it is dependent on the mail boat and often doesn’t have things you might need to cook. And it’s expensive, too. The other thing to point out is George Town is expensive. Frozen drinks can average more than $10; dinner entrees closer to $30. I don’t think my family of five spent less than $200 at a sit-down; even an awful burger and drinks at the beach bars ended up more than $120 after tip. So budget that if you’re going. But it is the prettiest collection of beaches in the Americas, as far as I’m concerned. If you rent a boat, finding a beautiful deserted beach is simply a matter of pointing. That balances out the cost and any other complaints. And if you’re going, it wound be hard to hope for a better place to stay than Point of View.

As of January 2022, the villa now has: 1 queen in downstairs master bedroom 1 queen bunk with a Twin XL on top in upstairs Garden View master suite 1 king in upstairs master in oceanview suite with a lounger bed ( new 8” mattress) 1 king in the second upstairs king master oceanview suite a queen pull-out bed in the lower level living room. At no extra charge, we provide: 1 Pack n Play with fresh bedding 1 Twin air mattress Original reply: Rich, thank you for your feedback... The wording on the bedding configuration will be reviewed, as there is a convenient and comfortable queen pull out sofa that is normally used for additional guests in the living room. In addition to this, we also provide comfortable and plush queen and full size air mattresses. It was indeed a pleasure to have hosted you. Paradise Found

Wonderful house - well equipped, four comfortable bedrooms, right on amazing blue water, in a gated neighborhood with many amenities. It doesn’t get better than this!

Great Vacation-Excellent Location

February Point-Point of View- was an excellent spot for our first trip to the Exuma Islands. The community is largely unfinished, but still appears to be in one of the nicer gated communities on the big island. Staff were nice and community was quiet. We were on a boat the majority of time and having a personal dock was a must. Ladder is still broken from earlier post, but new grill works great. Home is a little dated and in need of some maintenance, but all in all the location was excellent and as described.

Dan - since your visit we have completely overhauled Point of View‘s exterior and turned it into an oceanfront oasis. Our photo gallery reflects the updates including a new 20’ x 40’ shaded patio space, and an entirely new set of Polywood furniture on the new patio plus on the overwater deck along with new cushions on the deck’s sectional couch. February Point has also updated its pools with new lounge chairs with cushions, and umbrellas. The Rusty Anchor is turning out it’s best food ever and the service is always outstanding. We hope you will come back to visit and experience all of the updates! Original response: Dan, thank you for your great feedback! February Point is truly a gem within Great Exuma and with that, we still have allot of potential in terms of development. I must admit, there continues to be a significant amount of interest in our community and with this, we are all excited on what the future holds for our little piece of paradise. Hopefully one day we can also have the privilege of calling you an owner…. We have a replacement dock ladder which will be installed within the upcoming weeks. Unfortunately, with the supply chain shortage and shipping challenges, it was not an easy task finding and shipping the proper fit for our renters. I am happy to hear about your enjoyment of the amenities outside of the community. The historical sites, beautiful waters and beaches of Exuma are truly unmatched and is really a must for all persons to take full advantage. The added benefit of the house having a dock and the extended large deck make enjoying the outdoors for an evening "chill n grill" and boating experience even more comfortable. Thank you once again for your feedback and we are looking forward to being of host to you again within the near future.

Beautiful point of view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have a vrbo in Florida so I am very particular. This did not disappoint at all. They had everything in the house that you would need plus extra touches that go a long way. Plus they had the toys outside. Location was excellent and right next to the resort restaurant and pool. Sitting out back by the dock was great and view outstanding. 5 stars....I took my mom and daughter and we had more than plenty of space. Don't forget to go to Blu restaurant which was incredible. Easter in Exuma

Overall the property was clean and well maintained. There was an issue with the BBQ and the ladder on the dock but not to the extent that it effected our stay.

Exumas Getaway

The property worked out perfectly for our group of four couples. Four separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom was great. Nice outdoor area overlooking amazing waters. Had a personal chef for two evening ding in which was fantastic. Would highly reccomend this home for a large group.
