You prefer unique places with character that feels homey. Our little slice of paradise is just the place for you and only 2 miles from downtown Murphy!.
The property is a cozy modern-day farmhouse. The Blueberry Woods cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, open concept kitchen, dining and living room space.

The space

No expense has been spared to ensure the best possible stay at this two-bedroom Murphy vacation cabin. Perfect for a romantic weekend escape with that special someone, settle in with top-notch amenities, including a gas log burning fireplace, and much more!

Find the perfect antidote to a stressful week with this Murphy home's aesthetically pleasing features. Just beyond your doors in Murphy lie dense, rolling mountain woodlands, offering activities from kayaking, tubing, and fishing to hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. But if you'd rather stay home, the plethora of amenities here will keep you plenty entertained.

Step into the home and you'll find high vaulted ceilings, features including wood and stone accents inspired by the natural surroundings, comfortable furnishings, and farmhouse themed decor. Kick off your shoes and relax into either of the living area's couches for an afternoon movie on the wall-mounted 55-inch flatscreen smart TV or sit around the kitchen table and play a hand of cribbage or skip-bo.

Walk out the back door to find a spacious outdoor deck offering even more relaxing options. Feast your eyes on sweeping wilderness views while you chill on the newly updated deck or take a dip in the outdoor hot tub. Or relax with a cup of tea or wine and watch our resident hummingbirds “Moe, Larry and Curly” delight you with their whimsical antics.

Back inside, an updated kitchen sits ready for your culinary conquests. Using its stainless-steel appliances, ample countertops, and varied cookware, quickly and easily whip up homemade meals, then eat together at the four-seat kitchen table or dine al fresco on the deck. There's even a gas grill on the deck for summertime barbecues.

After filling your belly, fill some post-mealtime with a family game night. You could also head outdoors to enjoy a night cap on the deck while the refreshing sounds of nature swirl around you.

When it's time to retire for the day, get the restful sleep you deserve in the either the master bedroom's plush king-size bed, which will accommodate two guests or the queen guest room. Turn on the bedroom's side table light and curl up with a good book.

In the morning, take a trip into Murphy for more fun. Stroll down Main Street to find unique gifts in its different eclectic shops, or head into the hills for wine sampling and scenic drives.

There are also abundant trails leading to breathtaking lookouts, towering waterfalls, and pristine rivers in the surrounding Chattahoochee National Forest, so don't forget to bring along a pair of sturdy hiking boots.

Other things to note
This neighborhood is a very quiet and peaceful area.
We have a family of 12-16 deer that roam the area most of the day and into dusk. Please be extremely careful when driving in the area.

We are 2.5 miles from the local hospital, 3 miles from a boat docking area that will get you into the Hiawassee River. Downtown Murphy has several restaurants ranging from Italian food at Perrone's Italian Cafe to Mexican fare. There is a wonderful bookstore where you can "get lost" in older editions that cannot be found anywhere else.
