Nice room and great location

Awesome location with a great fun pool. The beach is pretty but very rocky. The room was nice and clean. There was salt and pepper and a nicely stocked kitchen.

Beautiful ocean views with good kitchen appliances. I wish there was a quick guide in the condo with check in info, local recommendations, check out ptocess. Ect.More forks are needed as well as extra shampoo and conditioner but otherwise great place to stay. Good communication with host. I would recommend this condo!

Truly is beach front bliss!

We just got back to Colorado from our stay in Kauai. This property was just as advertised and pictured. The property manager and concierge were very helpful. The rental unit was all we could have imagined. Every night we left our balcony doors and listened to the ocean all night with the ocean breeze keeping us cool. The beach front was perfect for relaxing and wading out into the ocean. Wonderful place to stay! We would definitely come again. Highway gets really busy and requires some patience. Duke's Canoe Club in Lihue was a wonderful place to dine overlooking the bay. The Safeway store is directly across from the property with easy access.

A206 - Nice view but musky/moldy smell..

We have stayed at this resort in the past so we were looking forward to another wonderful visit. A206 has lovely ocean views right out in front. Unfortunately we were met with a very musky/moldy smell coming from one of the bathrooms in our unit. We immediately notified the property manager and although they agreed that they could also smell the foul smell there was nothing that could be done without intruding on our space during our stay to open walls and find the cause. The management offered us compensation of 5% of our room cost, but to compound the issue we encountered poor weather on this stay which forced us into our room more then we ever expected to be in there. This forced us to have to deal with the foul smell more then we would have liked and felt that the compensation for essentially cutting us off from half of our unit due to foul smell that made us gag when near, it fell short of what we thought was fair.

Aloha Grace, Thank you for being our guest and for leaving a review. Please allow us to speak to a few things mentioned in this review. To start, the guest's initial complaint was that the washer had a musty smell. Our housekeeping director as well as our general manager happened to be on site when the complaint came in and went there in person to access the situation right away. The guest was correct, our team failed to clean the washing machine properly prior to her arrival. We believe in being transparent and owning our mistakes when they do happen. We immediately cleaned the washing machine and ran an oxy clean cleaning cycle to address the issue. After that, the guest complained of a musty smell in her bathroom. We had not had any complaints prior to her stay and have not had any complaints after her stay so this came as a surprise to us. The guest said there appeared to be a water leak behind the wall and that was the cause for the musty smell. Our general manager did not smell anything and had a professional device to test the moisture behind the wall. There was no moisture found and to make the situation more challenging the guest did not want us to use any chemicals or do anything to fix the situation while she was in-house. Please note this occured on the first day of her 12 night stay. She continued to reach out continually throughout her stay to complain about a musty smell but again did not want us to do anything to help remedy the situation. We explained that as a management company, we were in a very challenging position given the guest did not want us to do anything. As a gesture of good faith, we told the guest we would offer them compensation for the oversight they experienced upon arriving. We asked the guest what she thought a fair compensation amount would be and she requested 50% off of her entire stay. We did not feel that was appropriate and let the guest know we would not be doing that. The guest was upset that we would not give them that amount of compensation they requested and came back asking for another considerable amount of money. In the end, we did compensate the guest more than a free nights worth of revenue, we were very responsive and did the best we could to host them with aloha regardless of their upset. Ultimately we are sorry we did not meet this guests expectations and we hope their travels home went smoothly. Mahalo, Kauai Exclusive Management

Hidden Gem at Waipouli Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely, well located and appointed 2 bedroom apartment. The position is sensational with wonderful ocean views and sea breezes. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen well equipped - even included some condiments, sauces, cling wrap etc. The onsite restaurant is quite good and you can hire bicycles from the onsite Spa. The close-by coastal ride is absolutely wonderful and well worth doing (even if you're like me and haven't been on a bicycle for more than 45 years!) Safeway, Foodland and other shops/restaurants are directly across the road which makes eating options very simple. There are a couple of maintenance issues within the apartment (which hopefully can be easily rectified) - the doors leading out from the lounge to the narrow balcony cannot be locked and the screen door leading on to the seating area verandah was off its rollers and could not be used. Unfortunately we did not receive the instructions/ code to enable easy, checkin access to the property prior to our arrival. If not for the incredibly helpful concierge at the property I don't know what we would have done. She went out of her way to ensure we were looked after. The on-site resort management company/reservation desk will not help you one little bit as they do not manage this property. They would not even allow me to use their telephone (despite my offer to pay for the call), so don't expect any help here. Once direct contact was made with Kauai Exclusive Management everything went smoothly but it would have been much better to have access details to the apartment before we arrived. All in all though, this was a great stay and one I have already recommended to friends back in Australia.

Aloha Alison, Thank you for being our guest and for your valuable feedback regarding A206. We would like to clarify a few things mentioned. All of the door codes and arrival instructions were emailed 60 days to your arrival date. When you called our 877-GOKAUAI number you said "I can't find my paperwork I don't know what I did with it. You mentioned you had an international phone number and that might be why you didn't have your code." We had our on site manager meet you within minutes to open the door for A206 and we resent the same information we had sent 60 days earlier. Every guest that books with Kauai Exclusive receives an email confirmation once final payment is processed as well as all of their arrival instructions including door codes, wifi information, driving directions and more. The maintenance issues mentioned are very helpful and we appreciate you letting us know so that we can resolve those issues for future guests. Mahalo, Kauai Exclusive Management

Great stay

Overall top quality place. Clean, well stocked kitchen as far as plates, cookware etc. beautiful view from the unit, and very nicely decorated. Only downfall was lack of front desk staff to answer questions, and the 4 BBQ grills are not near enough for most evenings if you plan on staying in for dinner. Usually a wait to cook and the grills don’t get very hot so cooking takes awhile. But we made it work. Beach is nice but very rocky in the water so not many people swimming. Pool however is amazing. My kids swam most nights after dinner till the pool closed at 10. Would stay again next time we come back to the island.

Love this condo!🌴

This is our 3rd time at this condo. This time with kids and grandkids. Everyone loved it. Sat on balcony every morning to watch sunrise. Kids had a blast at the pool! One suggestion would be, if you plan to cook here, bring spices including salt and pepper otherwise you have to buy. Will definitely return 🌴🌞

Absolutely amazing experience! Josh responded to all my questions within minutes. This property is even better than expected which is hard to believe!
