Unit is spacious and elegant with a private master, and balconies with ocean and mountain views. All the amenities you need with easy beach access for great snorkeling. We have stayed at this resort twice and loved it both times.

The unit was very nice and as advertised. The views were great! The pool, spas and two slides were a lot of fun! We had one slight issue and management responded quickly to fix the problem. The central AC was great! We would definitely stay here again!! I only wish there had been a cooler to use.

The unit views were excellent. Slightly higher priced than similar units. There was some slight damage, and it was under-stocked with beach stuff and other supplies we have seen with similar units. The resort location is amazing and centrally located on the island.

Too many good things!

This was our first trip to Kauai so we didn't know what to expect or where to go. We booked this trip fairly last minute and got super lucky to snag this unit. Not only is the complex across the street from a 24 hour Safeway but the beach is literally steps away from our door.The angle of this particular unit was the best! Windows that faced the ocean view but the balcony was turned just to side so we didn't get the crazy winds.The unit was clean, spacious, furnished well and comfy.Oh and there are 3 bathrooms! That was a surprise that we didn't know we needed.10/10 best vacation ever!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the place was beautiful, it is hard to enjoy it when you feel hot and sticky beacuse there is no working air conditioning! I specifically chose a place to stay that has air because I live in Hawaii and know how humid and uncomfortable summer nights can be! I called the assistance line and (no surprise) there was no one available to assist us. I have reached out to management two times already to see if they had any interest in my stay, but I never received ANY response!! Seriously? Poor management We are going back in August and will definitely be choosing another place to stay!

Couples getaway

Long time high school friends on vacation. Place was really nice to visit kauai together. Pleanty of room for all of us to hangout with still enough room for private space. We wish there was more than 2 towels per bathroom considering the Length stay but they were nice to leave detergent for the washing machine for a couple loads. Dishwasher didn't work but management was very responsive to the issue. We decided to wait until we left for them to check. We wished the balcony was water facing but super roomy and still a good water view. Tile grout in master could use some love but everything else was spotless. Guest room had an awkward door entrance in correlation to the on suite bathroom. Kind of more comical. Also, the code to get into the pool area was a tad long. Little overkill especially since to be there needed wrist bands. Overall, we would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Definitely worth the value and the location to sites on the island.

We have stayed at many resort condos throughout the islands and this one ranks amongst the best. The views are stunning the property is amazing and besides some minor issues with some of the appliances, this was a fantastic place.

This property was very disappointing. There were no restaurants open during the day Or even seven days a week.Not even a snack bar Or coffee shop. No poolside service. The villa itself was dingy and smelled sewer like. Worn out tired furniture. Stopped up sinks and toilet.

As far as our villa went we were only mildly impressed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well thought out and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The large veranda was nice with a great view of the ocean. There was a moldy smell throughout the home. The bathrooms and kitchen especially smelled sewer like. It was disturbing to be breathing the moldy, stinky air. I understand the climate is humid, however, there must be a remedy so that guests are not breathing unhealthful air. The toilet in one of the bathrooms had to be plunged daily and the sink drain didn’t drain after the first night. The living room, dining and veranda furniture was mostly pretty worn out with smooshed cushions and the kitchen table only had 3 chairs. The photos of the unit showed 4 chairs which would have been helpful for our family of 6. We were very disappointed with the lack of amenities at the resort. There was absolutely no poolside drink or food service which I mistakenly thought was a "given" at any resort. The previous 4 times we've been to one of the Islands we have always enjoyed this convenience. There was no snack bar or coffee shop. The upscale Oasis restaurant is only open very limited hours. There was absolutely NO entertainment or even music poolside. Another amenity we always enjoy at resorts. When I tried to get my soggy pool towels exchanged half way through the day I was told I could not have a dry towel because I hadn’t had the towel 24 hours. Ridiculous! I was not asking for anything extra, just an exchange. The pool attendant had stacks and stacks of dry towels on the shelves behind him so there was no shortage. We will never stay at Waipouli Beach Resort again.

Excellent Location & Unit, Poor Onsite Management

We absolutely loved the unit and its furnishings which were top notch luxury class through and through. The two ensuite set-up was excellent for two couples, and the waterfront views were spectacular. Unfortunately, the central AC unit did not work for half of our stay, and it was quite difficult sleeping at night without it. This unit's management (Kauai Exclusive, we dealt with Trevor) was quick and responsive, friendly and helpful, but because they were at the mercy of the onsite management to fix the AC, and because the onsite resort management inexplicably had no maintenance staff working weekends, we got absolutely ZERO help from them, which was disappointing consider the high price per night we paid. Also, the pool and grounds were beautifully maintained, but the onsite restaurant, which also provides snacks and drinks poolside from 3-5pm was completely closed on both Saturday and Sunday. How you operate a destination vacation resort without on call maintenance and also close the only onsite restaurant for both of the busiest days of the week is beyond me. I understand their are staffing shortages in Hawaii right now, but the decision to not open at all on weekends seemed selfish and short-sighted. This would be a five star review were it not for the fact we had to sleep in the heat and couldn't even eat on site for our last two days there. Overall, a great renting experience that was degraded by the poor decisions of the resort management.
