Los Juncos #10 Close to beach and amenities

Marie was our first booking on VRBO. Unfortunately, we did not have the systems in place at the time to avoid the double booking of the condo. We’re just getting started in property management and as such don’t have a huge inventory of alternative condos to rent. We found Marie an alternate condo with another property management company. Marie made no attempt to contact us during her stay. It was only after she returned home that we were made aware of the problem she claims to have experienced in the alternate condo. We received notification from VRBO requesting a 50% refund. During a conference call we actually proceeded to refund Marie 75% of the funds we received for her stay. This resulted in a loss for our organization in that the unit we placed her in was not one of our condos and upon contacting the owner and conducting an inspection we did not find any evidence of an infestation. Costa Rica is in the tropics and well known for it’s amazing bio-diversity. Admittedly, part of that is comprised of insects and some folks from northern latitudes may not realize that some of them may visit you during your stay.
