I'd love to give this place a bad review because then we can book it any time without worrying about it already being booked, but I just can't. This place was PERFECT for our family. The A/C in the bedrooms was lovely. The private pool was fantastic. The living space was great. The view was magical. The beds were super comfortable. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome place to stay!

Beautiful view

The home was lovely and the pool and lanai were exceptional. We spent many sunsets out by the pool. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Amazing Big Island Adventures

This place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived and found our personalized gift basket through the last picturesque sunset. The house and management delivered on every aspect. The house had everything we needed during our stay, from beach gear to seasonings. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to the island!

Home away from home

This property had everything we needed to feel right at home. From BBQ every night, to sunsets and whales. The pool was perfect for those days we wanted to relax and stay cool.

Beautiful home with amazing view of the ocean. We sit by the pool and watch for whales and dolphins that come through regularly during our stay. So many places to visit within 10-20 minute drive. Beaches. Restaurants. Coffee shops. Art galleries. Grocery stores. Shopping.

New Air conditioner has been installed every 4 bedrooms

We stayed September last year also, ocean views and sunset, watching stars, everything perfect!! Installed brand new air conditioner, we turned on only a few hours while no breezes.

Does not disappoint!!

5 stars is not enough! We walked into a clean and beautiful home to the sweet sounds of Hawaiian music. And then we saw the view!!! We watched whales for days from the lanai. We enjoyed finding a variety of dining experiences in Kawaihae. Don’t skip the art gallery located in the lower level of the marketplace. Waimea was perfect for grocery shopping. We went to a farmers market there on Saturday morning and it did not disappoint! Fresh caught fish, yummy bacon, garden fresh fruits and vegetables alongside beautiful artists and crafters. We will definitely check the availability of this home first when we plan our next visit to the Big Island!

Great house, gorgeous location

We had a small group of friends in town for a wedding and had such a lovely time at this rental. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and everything was just as listed. The gorgeous pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely the best part of the rental - and we enjoyed it every single day of our stay! The area is lovely and quiet but conveniently located to everything you’d need. It seems that recently the house was updated recent to include mini split air conditioning in each of the bedrooms - and this absolutely essential (and appreciated!) during our August visit! Once turned on, the bedrooms cooled down immediately. Our group commented daily on how great a find this rental was and how lucky we were to be staying there. Would recommend this property 100%

House was immaculate and well taken care of - it had all the amenities we could possibly need including a fully stocked kitchen. We bought fresh fish at the local fish market nearby and grilled several nights at home. We loved swimming in the pool and watching the sunset in the evenings - and yes, we could see whales in the distance. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends & family.

Quiet, Luxurious House

My wife and I spent a week at this fantastic property. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all then this is it! Located off on its own, we almost felt like there was no one around for miles during our stay. We spent many an afternoon outside in the fabulous walk-in pool. The surrounding plush outdoor chairs are extrememly comfortable and a great place to read a book and/or take a nap. Every night we made a point to check out the sunset as well -- each was beautiful. The house itself was very cool with well placed ceiling fans as well as portable fans. It is also well stocked with abundant beach towels and bathroom towels. The bathrooms themselves had some wonderful walk in showers. Additionally, they even have a wine refrigerator -- which is very rare to find in a vacation rental and very appreciated on our part. 2 Papayas are very accomodating and want you to have the best time possible. Available 24 hours a day, the staff checked in on us from time to time with a friendly phone call to make sure there were no problems. When we first landed on the Big Island, they were even kind enough to offer us an early check in! Please note, you are off the beaten path here and will most likely need to drive at least 20 minutes to a grocery store for food and supplies as needed.

All types of weather including a hurricane which almost never happens. The property management people Robbie and Shawn. Robbie called to make us aware if what was coming. Then she checked up on us a couple times. The house was ready for a emergency.

It's spacious ands plenty of room for everyone. We've stayed at many houses in the neighborhood, but we love this because it sits low enough to see (and hear) the whales!
