Can't beat the setup and view!

Truly amazing property! We were a little on the fence with how the setup would work out (bedrooms disconnected from the main living area), but this ended up being awesome. We had a group of six and everyone could spread out, yet all be together. View was incredible as well. Five stars all the way around!

Best Place To Stay!

Amazing property and a wonderful host and check-in experience.

This house was even better than we expected. It served all of our needs as a family traveling together. Gregg, our property manager, was wonderful. He showed up with his wife to check us in, and he also checked in on us during the week to make sure that everything was going well. We could not be happier with this property or the property management experience. As managers ourselves of a vacation home rental property, we know when we see a good host. Gregg is that person and did a wonderful job. We’d come back again and again to this amazing property.

Amazing property

Sea turtles abound and will rest for the evening on the beach right outside the house. Perfect spot to watch the sun set, relax, and pretend that you have no cares in the world.

We had an incredible stay at this beachside property! The location couldn't be better—right on the beach with huge waves perfect for surfing and swimming. The nearby food trucks offer a fantastic variety of delicious options, making dining easy and enjoyable. The property itself is well-maintained and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Dirty, roaches, ants on the kitchen counter, ant traps behind art on the counter, geckos everywhere along with their droppings, no air conditioning, smelled liked urine, only one towel per person, it was like camping not all what was expected ~ over priced. Lovely, peaceful home right on the water

This was a perfect place for our week in Hawaii! The house has a big lanai with lots of comfortable chairs, a large table for outdoor meals, and a green, green lawn, palm trees and the wide ocean in full view. The large kitchen had all of the cooking supplies and counter surfaces we needed to cook all of our meals there. We used the outdoor grill several times, too. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom and separate entrances connected to the outdoor walkways and patios so there was lots of privacy. The property manager Gregg was super helpful about getting in touch before and upon our arrival, and was quick to answer the one call I made about some extra bedding. We walked to really great snorkeling at several spots along Puako Drive where the house is located. We would have never left this place if we had the option!

Even better than it looks!

Everything was perfect. Could use some pest control, found big and small cockroaches in every-room throughout the stay. Which made it hard to want to cook or use kitchen items. Loved having 4 separate bedroom/bathrooms, plenty of room for everyone, with beautiful views of the ocean!

Fall break interisland friends trip.

Four friends from Molokai decided to hop on a plane and take an interisland vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better home, location, or property management. Truly a beautiful place, incredibly comfortable casual and relaxing. Everyone had their own space (bedrooms and bathrooms) and the common area was perfect (large kitchen, dining, covered lanai and living room). We spent 5 nights and no one wanted to go home. Puako is a very special and unique neighborhood. It’s a throw back to a quieter Hawaii time and should be savored. Thank you Gregg for managing such a lovely property. We all truly appreciated it!

Perfect for family and friends

This oceanfront property was a perfect spot for our extended family, including two young children. Each couple had their own “cabin” with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom so they could have their privacy but come together in the main house for meals and relaxation on the lanai. One cabin has an attached outdoor shower with a door, and there is another outdoor shower on the opposite side of the house. The outdoor showers were the best, and great for cleaning up after the beach. One of the four cabins is on the other side of the pull-through driveway making it a little more isolated, but it is roomy with lots of windows for circulation. The main house has another full bath including a shower. The kitchen is large and well appointed. There is a dining area for eight inside, and another large table on the attached lanai. The laundry has full size W/D and a second refrigerator. We spent most of our time on the lanai, which has large wide daybeds for lounging and reading. With small kids, having the grassy area in front of the house with just a small entrance to the beach made it easy to keep track of them. The beach in front of the house is especially nice for children, with a calm area frequented by numerous turtles. We had one issue while we were there, and Gregg came over right away and took care of it. The house was very clean. All in all, it is hard to find anything negative to say. We hope to come back again.

Puako Paradise

This Puako property is truly paradise found and it will be hard to leave. We enjoyed all aspects of this modern, yet Hawaiian home for our family. Sunsets, diving, fishing and relaxing were the aspirations for our vacation and this location and property exceeded our expectations. The diving at the edge of the barrier reef was like a gigantic aquarium with all Hawaiian fishes present! The property manager was informative and helpful and we appreciate her service. I would definitely suggest renting this property to anyone interested in the best of what Hawaii has to offer. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home-we are all the richer from it! Beautiful location. Hot in the afternoons when no breeze. Some rooms do not cool off. Asked for extra fans and Gregg delivered 3 extra fans. Close to Kona Diving. 8 family members. Here for 3 weeks in June. Great family time. Eldest daughter did pay extra to have a portable AC put in room across for main living area. It was very nice that they accommodated her and her family bthanks again Gregg.

Fabulous, Quiet Retreat

This was our second stay in Puako, and this property was a gem to find. The character and charm of this home was exactly what we wanted. There was enough space for six of us to spread out. We are a family of four, and our adult kids brought their significant others. The lanai is amazing and perfect for lounging. Many a game was played and dinners enjoyed on the outside dining table. The kitchen was more than equipped with everything we needed, and Gregg, the property manager, was always responsive with questions. There is an abundance of sea life and the turtles were so fun to watch. The tidepools fun to explore and oh those sunsets.... spectacular to watch. This home is definitely one we would return to for another Big Island vacation.

Heaven on Earth

Heaven for me is seclusion surrounded by tropical beauty and my family. Privacy for all of us in 4 separate unique spaces. The fourth room can be a king or separated into two twins. You wouldn’t want to put small kids back there because it’s kind of behind the house. No view there but it’s own bathroom as do all of the rooms here. If you’re looking for natural beauty and an outdoor feeling even indoors come stay here. If you’re looking for upscale accommodations make reservations at the Marriott. The owners responded immediately to an issue we had with the dishwasher. Bonus experience was turtles every day on the lava fields as well as one on the beach one day. I was so grateful to find a pair of water shoes available here as you really need them for the rocky beach.
