ML 384: Modernes Refugium in den Bergen. Tolle Aussicht + Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer!

Walk right out to a locked garage for bike storage/ maintenance, and pedal over to the trail head! For gravity oriented riders who are ready to rip chair lift laps, we recommend Whistle Pig or Dirt Beaver for a warm up. If you’re looking for a cross country pedal with views, we recommend hopping on the Cheat Mtn Ridge Trail. Or maybe the kiddos want to roll around one of the pump tracks / skills parks this area has to offer?! Regardless, Snowshoe offers something for everyone!

Please note: For Guests booking directly through VRBO or our website, a $250 pre-authorization hold will be placed on your credit card on the day of arrival. This is not a charge—just a temporary hold that will be released after your departure once housekeeping confirms the unit is in good order. Depending on your bank, the hold typically clears within 5–8 business days.
Therefore, please use a credit card, not a debit card, when booking with enough funds for this transaction to go through on your arrival to ensure that you have a smooth and trouble-free check-in.

THE RESORT:

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy.
● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few.
● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

● Mountain Lodge features equipment lockers for rent (each holds all your ski equipment or up to two mountain bikes), for $15/per day on a first-come/first-serve basis, an arcade for the kids and young at heart, an inviting lobby built around a large fireplace (lit in the winter), laundry facilities, and a prime location that’s just a quick walk to Snowshoe’s main high-speed quad lift, Split Rock Pools, and Wildcat Grocery.
● Free shuttle buses are available from the Village to Top of the Mountain, and to Silver Creek for night skiing. Reach the Western Territory by way of the Silver Creek shuttle.
