Luxuriously decorated, Pearl Marlin is a newly renovated, two-story condo located in the heart of Port Aransas. This spacious two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condo comfortably sleeps eight guests. The beach is an easy three-minute walk with its own boardwalk access. The kitchen boasts new quartz countertops and is well-equipped for cooking. The open-concept kitchen and dining space flows into the large living room and boasts new wood-tile floors. You and your family will enjoy the 60-inch flat screen TV in the living room. A convenient half-bathroom is located nearby.

Guests will enjoy two primary suites with newly renovated private bathrooms in each. Downstairs is a new queen-size sleeper sofa and two twin roll-away beds. The first primary bedroom has a king-size bed and 35-inch HD flat-screen TV. It also boasts a private exterior patio deck with comfortable chaise lounge chairs. The second primary suite has a queen-size bed and offers a TV/DVD combo for guests to watch their favorite movies, with dozens of movies on property for to choose from.

Stepping outside, you will appreciate the lush and manicured landscaping while using one of the many barbecue grills or playing tennis on the private courts. With two large outdoor walk-out patio decks overlooking the pool, you can enjoy the fabulous Gulf breezes.

Everything was good. Just would been nice to have enough towels for all 8 that it sleeps. Also could have benefited from having a cookie sheet and full size pan to use.

Comfortable Condo

We enjoyed our stay at the Pearl Marlin. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had a minor issue with the cable tv and lack of batteries in the remote. The management team arrived within minutes of being contacted. I was impressed.

Silver Sand

Our property was very dirty and filthy, my wife and I spent two hours cleaning and sanitizing the unit and shower heads just so that we could use them/it. There was no ocean front nor ocean view and the boardwalk wasn’t accessible from the unit. I will never stay at that location again and I will never use Silver Sand for any of my future needs.

Rainy Start, Great Finish!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very comfortable and exactly what we expected from the pictures. The only issue we had was the wrong password for the wifi but Silver Sands sent someone over immediately and helped us fix the issue. The condo is right on 11th street and about a five minute walk to the boardwalk to the beach. It is very conveniently located to all the local attractions. We arrived during a small tropical depression which made the walk to the beach muddy and and the mosquitoes aggressive. But we got to eat at all of our favorite restaurants in spite of the rain. We would definitely stay here again.

Last Minute Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn't plan our vacation until two weeks prior so there weren't many available places at Port A by that point. Luckily we found this condo. The price was great and the place is decent. Few issues - the couch is cracked and peeling, the flooring in one bedroom is badly warped and there is sort of a musty smell. All(except the couch), I'm sure, are from the storm and the fact the lower floor condos haven't been completed yet. Other than those things the condo was clean and looks freshly renovated. The pool area is nice and the grounds are well kept.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Pearl Marlin unit itself was great, exactly as described. The management, not so much. It started with 4 phone calls asking for early check in...did not get in till 4 on a Friday afternoon , when we noticed no wifi. No service till Sun afternoon. We even had trouble finding it, the office said "right down the street", it was, but address was in 4 inch high letters, actually went to wrong unit (same number) . A map with some detail might help. As I said, unit was fine, but overall property management could be improved.

I have tried to call you to find out about why you had so many problems getting an early check in. An early check-in can be a hit or miss deal. In order to receive an early check in, we have to have the approval from the head house keeper. We want you to be able to go into a nice clean home. I'm not sure if that may have been the case or not. For future reference, we do have maps that will take you directly from our office to the property you are staying at. Again, I apologize you were not given one but wanted you to know to please ask for one on your next visit so it will make finding your home a more pleasurable experience. Please know that we care very much about your feedback and take it very seriously. We have our main number you can reach us at between 9:00am and 5:00pm and then we also have our emergency number that you can reach maintenance between 5:00pm to 9:00am. I hope this helps you with your next stay and that we are able to see you soon so you can have a better experience. Thank you, again.

Really enjoyed our stay!! Arrived a couple hours previously than planned. A quick text to management and Logan arranged an hour prior to check in for us. We live a couple of hours from Port A and will definitely stay at this location again!

Great location - housekeeping issues

We loved the location and the space but I do not think housekeeping cleaned prior to our visit. The first floor where the pull-out couch is, the sheets were dirty with stains on them. The second floor, one of the bathrooms had a used soap bar and the bed had sand in the sheets. The other bedroom had a blood stain on the comforter and the floor was covered in sand. I know being near the water, roaches are common but this unit had issues. Another problem was our door code stopped working and we had to call the management company. While on the phone with them we told them we believe the battery is going out. We waited about an hour for someone to show up who tried the code and said I need to get a key to let you in. He left and came back 30 minutes later again with no key, but had a screwdriver and busted open the door. We are not ones to complain but we feel these issues need to be addressed.

Cute condo but only 3 stars for me

Upon arrival, the condo looked just like the pictures. It was decorated cute and overlooks the pool. They had plenty of dishes and cookware. It didn’t feel as clean as we expected though. The floors were very dirty. Bring your own wash cloths as they only give you 1 per bathroom. There were plenty of bath towels. One of the biggest concerns was the entire time we stayed here, we felt sick. It was like a cold or allergies but only experienced the symptoms in the condo, especially at night. We woke up with sore throats and stuffed up nose but symptoms would disappear within minutes of leaving. It makes me wonder if there was mold. I don’t think we will rent a place over a shared pool again. There was loud partying and music that went on until 1-2am every night. There’s no after hours contact so you pretty much have to deal with it. It would have been nice to have an in unit washer and dryer. With the current quarter shortage, it was impossible to find anywhere to get quarters. We enjoyed our visit to Port A. Silver Sands was very pleasant to work with.

Super cute clean house

My family of 4 and my self stayed here. It was so clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything you need. The living room was so beautiful, welcoming and inviting. Alot of natural light. Beautifully ocean theme decorated place. It has 2 balconies. Pool view. Really clean restrooms one in each room and a 3rd one downstairs. Fully stocked w plenty of towels. Walking distance to the beach. We definitely recommend you to stay. 10 stars.Its super cute, cozy and spacious. We loved it. Will be definitely coming here soon.

Very nice weekend

We really enjoyed everything here but the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Also, a place to rinse sandy chairs from the beach would be helpful. If there is a hose we couldn’t find it. But we definitely recommend this property.

Nice place to stay

This condo was nicely furnished, quiet and well maintained. Too many steep stairs for us but as long as you don't mind stairs it's a great place. Our only issue was with the separate laundry facility, we prefer units with washer/dryer included. We didn't have any problem with the washers being in use but it was hard to find quarters. The Sea Sands office didn't keep any on hand.

Could have used more than one set of towels per person considering the laundry is in another location not in unit. Can’t watch tv in bedrooms unless you subscribe to roku.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. Construction is not taking place at this condo complex, Sea Sands. Port Aransas has had construction for the last two years since Hurricane Harvey. We provide enough towels for each guest plus additional. The community laundry mat is brand new and up and running. The bedroom TV's do not have cable boxes; however, they offer roku so that you can watch any subscription you enjoy. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at this home. We would love for you to come back to Port A and stay with us again.

Little rough around the edges

This unit is on the second floor. The unit is two story. Not made clear in description. Exterior (mostly landscape) was not in good shape. Majority of the property was under construction including the unit below us. Could not watch tv on “flat screen” in king size bedroom unless you have Roku subscription. No cable For a three night stay it would have been nice to have a couple more towels because laundry was in separate building. I would not stay here again

Nice weekend stay with grandchildren

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outside steps leading to condo and around the porches was not clean. We had a hard time getting in as the code on the door had not been reprogrammed. We had to call the office and it took us about 30 minutes to get inside. The staff were very helpful during each call. Inside the condo was nice and comfortable. It is not close to the beach and hard to find the "walkover" which is located behind another group of condos. Pool was nice and well kept. Lots of parking available and the Location was easy access.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was clean but the outside looked run down but I believe they are renovating it. we asked for blankets and towels since there were not enough, we did finally get them the next afternoon. The TV in the master bedroom never would come on even after several calls to the office. The dishwasher was not secured in so every time you opened it, the whole thing would fall forward making it very difficult to load dishes in it. Overall the interior was clean just remember to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels.
