Peaceful

We had a great stay. Property was clean, roomy and was so close to many restaurants and close to family. We will definitely be renting again in the future.

Great place for a weekend stay

In town for an event and this worked as a great place for a coupe night stay. Close to town and had plenty of parking and room inside.

Nice family gathering retreat

Very nice, quiet rustic place in the woods. Four spacious bedrooms, very functional great room. Large, beautiful lot with deck, fire pit and horseshoes.

This is my second time staying at this property while visiting family. I have loved it both times! There is plenty of room, and every room has their own tv for when someone needed a break from everyone else. It has a pool table, corn hole set, a few board games and it even has a horseshoe pit in the back yard. The back porch is large with plenty of seating to enjoy the beauty outside. We got to see deer, birds and wild turkeys. The fire pits were great, as well. I’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

In town wedding

We booked this home for a weekend stay for a wedding that was there in town. The home is was very private and quiet. Enough space for the 5 people who stayed there. Communication with host was fast would definitely stay here again if I am ever down that way.

The property needs a little updating the water stopped working in the bathroom and the lights went out in the bathroom but overall a really nice place to stay

Space in the country

Very spacious and secluded. Had well stocked kitchen and large deck. Fun times by the whole family.

Great place to stay for us!

Property was super clean, quaint, quiet, backyard was amazing with the pond and the big trees and beautiful forest in the background. What a serene view. Had all the amenities we could ask for. Plus a pool table! Will definitely stay again. The host also let us have a little bit of a late check out, which was very nice, and they did not have to do that

Nice Secluded Cabin just outside of Town

Excellent stay. The property was clean and updated. Plenty of room for a big family. The home is offset in the woods giving excellent privacy. Great backyard area with a pond. The hosts were very responsive to all my questions and check-in and check-out were easy. We were very satisfied with our stay and would stay again without question.

Exactly what we hoped for!

My family and I enjoyed this secluded gem for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. Plenty of space inside and out. Little adventures on the pond and at the fire pit made it a great place to come back to. Not too far from the big city if it calls you. The Aquarium was a great time and make sure to hit up Legend-Dairy! Mike was quick to respond and we loved the whole trip. Make this your stop if you just need to relax with the family.

The house and property were better than expected. The only problem was a couple of outlets in the kitchen didn't work but other than that it was an awesome weekend.

Good with potential to be great

This property had so much space! The property could be great with a few more general maintenance items addressed, such as replacing caulking in showers. There were more bugs inside the home than I would consider normal even for a country property. This could be addressed by making sure the home is well sealed and profession treated. There was damage on the front door with gaps around the seal large enough to allow critters in. Overall we enjoyed the space and would consider staying here again.

Rodent infested home

We all arrived late in the evening due to a family engagement we flew into town for. When we arrived the home had an odor. We had unloaded our luggage in the entry way, and began to walk through the home to investigate. (I have pictures and have shared them with VRBO) Mouse droppings were found in the Kitchen cabinets, in a bedroom nightstand drawer. Mouse/Rat poison was found under the kitchen sink and the floor under the sink looked as if it had dry rot and was open to the ground underneath. The utility room hallway was spongy with dry rot and I suspected the water heater and/or Washer had cause the rot which usually means black mold. I immediately had the family repack our luggage into the 3 cars and at about 11:30pm we headed to a Holiday Inn 30 minutes away. VRBO did not return our money, and we are left with little recourse than to leave a bad review in hopes that no one else will waste their money. The fact that this property has all 5 star reviews is very perplexing to me?

I am not sure why your family packed up and left but I understand being in the country some folks aren’t use to it, however our home is free of rodents . The reason no refund was given is because there wasn’t evidence of any reason for a refund . I’m sorry our property didn’t meet your expectations.
