Enjoy mornings relaxing on the large deck with your first cup of coffee or evenings gazing at the stars! The dog-friendly house sits on a sloped wooded acre allowing you to get away from it all and feel the solitude of the mountains any time of year. Find stunning views looking north to Mount Buckskin, Mount Bross, Mount Silverheels and Palmer Peak.
At approximately 2,200 sf, the open floorplan gives you the opportunity to reconnect with family and friends in one space. The upper level features a vaulted ceiling in the open living, dining and kitchen areas. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen includes a pantry stocked with cooking staples. A large island with granite countertop provides extra bar seating for three. Or, choose to cook outside using the BBQ grill on the upper deck that wraps two sides of the house. In winter, snuggle in and enjoy the gas fireplace and gather at the large dining table (seats 8) to enjoy a hearty meal.
The lower level has a connected two car garage so you can unload gear and groceries indoors and keep your cars out of the weather when overnight snow sets the stage for a powder day at Breckenridge, only 30 minutes away. Also downstairs, a family room with big screen television, game table, and a gas stove is perfect for sports games or movie nights.
There are two bedrooms on the upper level. The first is an enormous primary with king size bed and ensuite bath with double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed and additional nearby full bathroom. The third bedroom with another king-sized bed is on the lower level along with the third full bathroom. Additional sleeping options include a pull-out queen size sleeper sofa in the lower-level family room and a fold down futon (XL twin) in the primary bedroom. High quality pillows and bedding are provided.
Need to work remotely? There are desks, desk chairs, 32" computer monitors, keyboards and mice in each king bedroom. The Wi-Fi was recently upgraded to Starlink, which is the fastest available in the area.
Three exterior cameras provide security for the property, and cover the doors and entryways on the lower level. Keypad entry provided through a side door on the garage.
CAUTIONARY NOTES:
1. This property is a remote mountain escape, and the drive includes 10 minutes on winding Park County maintained gravel roads, which can be slick in winter. FOUR-WHEEL (4X4) or ALL-WHEEL DRIVE (AWD) IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND IS REQUIRED IN WINTER MONTHS (NOV-APR.). The driveway up to the house is steep, and a plow service clears the driveway after snowstorms.
2. The house sits at almost 11,000 feet above sea level, which can cause altitude sickness for those traveling from lower elevations. ALLOW TIME TO ADJUST GRADUALLY IN MID-ELEVATIONS, SUCH AS DENVER, AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.
