Enjoy the best of Lavallette in this duplex oceanfront property (lower unit) just steps to the white sand beaches, with close proximity to the fantastic restaurants and shops. Fully updated property that can comfortably accommodate 6 people (up to 8 for an additional fee), enjoy reliable 1GB high speed fiber internet, streaming tv (subscriptions needed) , newer appliances, updated HVAC, and for electric car owners, a Tesla Level II wall charger. Outdoor lounges, umbrellas, beach towels, and BBQ grills available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. This unit also has a fenced-in sand lot to lounge and play. **Note, there is a separate listing for the upper unit. To view, search for 'Ultimate Beachfront Oasis on the Boardwalk - Upper Unit'

In the heart of Lavallette is a "Family friendly beach town with nine protected ocean beaches designated for swimming as well as two on the Barnegat Bay. Four of the ocean beaches have specifically designated areas for surfing and surf-fishing. The borough offers tennis, bocce, shuffleboard, basketball and roller blading opportunities on land while Barnegat Bay provides fishing, crabbing, swimming, boating, sailing, windsurfing and other water sports. There is a popular Boardwalk for walkers and joggers

There are also band concerts, fireworks, and Movies on the Bay, held at the Centennial Gazebo and Gardens located at Philadelphia Avenue and the bayfront."

The rooms are comfortable and climate controlled in the winter and the summer.

Heads up about noise: Due to the charming older wood frame construction of our building, there is a great possibility of hearing noise from the adjacent unit. We do have quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am, and we kindly ask our guests to be respectful of one another during this time. However, please be aware that some sound may travel between units.

Light sleepers, please take note! If you are a particularly light sleeper, this may not be the ideal place for you. However, if you are looking for a comfortable and cozy space with a bit of character, we would love to have you!

In the way of an update, because of our experience with you and our desire to constantly improve our guests experience, although it is not feasible or the general practice in the summer high season in the beach rentals, we ARE planning to add linens to our short term winter rentals. Spring Break with the Kids

Lovely beachfront property. We had amazingly warm 70 degree weather in April. The fenced in sand area just two steps down from the first floor deck was great for the kids. Loved having all linens and towels provided. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Host were very responsive to all questions. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Memorial Day weekend at Beach front oasis

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t venture far away as everything we needed was right there. We spent day 1 enjoying the gorgeous weather in the front ‘sand box’ and day 2 at the beach, which is just a stones throw. It really was a beach oasis. The hosts thought of everything, were great ant communicating and made our stay just that little bit extra special. We would definitely go back.

Jerri and 'the girls' were delightful to host. They were respectful of our home and the house rules. They left the place in great shape and I was particularly impressed that they had the consideraton to turn down the heat and place the garbage bin on the curb on their way out. I would highly recommend Jerri as a guest and welcome her back anytime.

Fantastic Stay

Paula and Dwight have made their home a wonderful oasis. My elderly mother could navigate the home and porch with ease. She delighted in the little special design touches and has already said we should come back. This would also be a smart location for a family with younger members. Loved it!

A little bit of heaven!

Paula and Dwight were great hosts and the property was well maintained and in an ideal location in Lavallette. Right on the beach yet close to great restaurants, it was a little bit of heaven that allowed us to enjoy the best of the Jersey Shore. Early morning walks on the beach followed by coffee on the porch is a perfect way for family members to recharge and reconnect. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Amazing Stay in a Perfect Location!**

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Paula & Dwight's place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was unbeatable on the beach—close to all the major attractions, great restaurants. Paula & Dwight were incredibly hospitable and responsive, providing us with fantastic recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the thoughtful gift bag made us feel so welcomed. We particularly enjoyed , the well-stocked kitchen, and the comfortable bed. The view was stunning, making our mornings and evenings extra special. We can't recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Cute house great location

We spent 5 days here and pics r accurate. Beach was close walk up the dunes and over. Only thing is that noises between upper and lower units are heard very loudly. Just the nature of the buildings construction. Lots of people seem to cut thru front yard to access other houses. In October not a big deal but might be different in summer season. Also the parking is very tight quarters with the turns off shared driveway. Plenty of street parking down the block though. Owners were great with communication and went the extra mile to accomodate my 82 yr old mother's physical situation.

To be certain, we have made every effort in our listing to highlight and fully disclose any potential condition that may pose a challenge or cause any discomfort to our guests. Your reference to the parking and sounds' reaffirms that we were on the right track in being candid and transparent in our listing.. Luckily, while the on site parking is for the lower unit is difficult to maneuver, we do benefit proximity to plenty of free on street parking just steps from the driveway. Also, to mitigate the sounds heard from guests in the upper unit, we have imposed and strictly enforce quiet hours to, at least, protect your right to quiet enjoyment of the home in the evening and early morning hours. Last, we regret that you did not alert us to the fact that other guests were exiting the property through your the front yard which is your private space. We would have addressed the matter immediately. Again, we appreciate your taking the time to leave a detailed and informed review. It is constructive, well received, and will certainly help us continue to grow as hosts. Most important, please note that we've already begun implementing changes to the listing and house rules that address the your concerns. We hope that you return soon to benefit the changes. A relaxing oasis!

From start to finish my family could not of picked a better vacation spot. Everything from very comfortable beds ( well dressed with the finest pretty bedding) to the well equip beautiful, gourmet kitchen ( there is nothing needed to cook your favorite foods). Everyone loved the wall mounted wine opener and inspired a want on their Christmas list! And the location is spectacular. A quite area that one can peacefully sit and read ( with waves splashing the beach) or just simple people watch. Paula and Tangelia were kind, professional and so helpful. We will be back again and again and so will distant family members. I especially liked the fact that the house was one sand dune away from the beautful, clean, beach with no 'eye candy' (meaning rides, bright lights, noise, bells, whistles, etc. ). A most wonderful time!

Friends Weekend

A group of friends and I decided to plan a get together for a weekend on the beach in Lavallette and found 1404 oceanfront. It fit all our needs as far as space, location, and all the amenities that we needed. We arrived and got in the place with no problems whatsoever. Our stay was absolutely amazing. We had an awesome evening with friends Friday night that came from local in towns to visit us. Are you OK? And there was plenty of room for visitors. We were able to serve food with no problems all the silverware glassware, dishes, serving platters were available for our small gathering . The bedrooms were beautiful and situated well for our party of people. And in the mornings luckily, the weather was beautiful and we got to sit on the porch out front soaking up the sun. It’s a beautiful spot, and we got to wave and watch all the walkers by with their dogs and bike rides and it was great. I can’t say enough good things about this location. Everyone wants to do it again hopefully next year. We did it in time for the Kentucky Derby so we had lots to celebrate. I highly recommend this place the people we dealt with were quick to respond to any questions we had and I look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you so much for having us there. We will definitely be in touch again.!!👍🏻👍🏻
