The Hyde Park Homestead has been beautifully designed for guests to have the best experience possible during their stay. The home offers 3 floors equipped with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with plenty of space to spread out. The open floor plan on the main floor allows for guests to enjoy the comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen without missing any of the action. The home also offers a private driveway for parking in addition to free street parking right in front of the home.

*IDENTITY VERIFICATION and PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIREMENT: Our properties are protected by SuperHog which is a third party identity verification and insurance partner. Once you have booked, you will be contacted by SuperHog to verify yourself and purchase insurance for a one time non-refundable fee of $35.00. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in in order to receive property access instructions.

*PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 12, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ARE ALLOWED.

*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. Contact us for questions. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) There is NOT a fully fenced yard at this property but the area is great for walking. There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*Full refund will be provided if guest cancels more than five days prior to arrival minus any processing fees. No refund will be given if cancelled within five days of arrival.
Host will not be on site during the stay but is just a phone call, text or email away.
Midtown Kansas City and the famous Westport area is one of Kansas City’s top entertainment districts. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants and bars, including Kelly's Westport Inn, an Irish-themed bar located inside the oldest building in Kansas City.

WHERE TO EAT LUNCH: With most of the 30 restaurants, 25 bars and 15 patios located within walking distances, there’s definitely no shortage of unique cuisine in Westport. Many restaurants, such as Cancun Fiesta Fresh, Char Bar and Joe’s Pizza, are open for quick lunches; or sit down with friends and co-workers for lunch at Snooze Eatery, Fat Sully's Pizza, Port Fonda and Jerusalem Café.

The lower level features the living room, kitchen, dining room, eat-in area in the kitchen and 1 full bathroom. The second level features 4 out of the 5 bedrooms and the third level is a large master suite with a lounge area and private en suite bathroom.

There are three full remodeled bathrooms in this home. The first full bathroom is located right off the kitchen and includes a walk in shower. There is an additional full bathroom on the second floor with a tub/shower combo. The third floor bathroom offers guests a large relaxing soaker tub along with an attachment to shower. All 3 bathrooms are equipped with luxury Tommy Bahama bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Each guest is provided a large bath towel and washcloth. Also, provided are dark make-up towels for convenience.

Overall this property is exactly how it appears online. Very well decorated and nice inside. The only 2 complaints would be the dog hair on the living room floor and couch, and the parking situation. I understand that it is a pet friendly property, it just seemed as if the area hadn't been vacuumed since the last tenant. The parking situation off street is just a gravel spot that only fits 1 car unless you want to hang over the sidewalk. Other than that everything else was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. 5 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space and room. Cozy. Owner is quick to answer any questions and the house was perfect for our family group. Clean and had all the amenities we needed. Close to all the attractions, shopping and Arrowhead Stadium! Would defiantly stay here again!

Delightful family Thanksgiving visit
This comfortable property was perfect for our family while celebrating Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving meal including lots of containers to hold our leftovers! All bedrooms and bathrooms were also well equipped with plenty of towels and needed soaps, shampoos, etc. We were within walking distance of shops and restaurants. All in all, a great visit to KC! We would definitely rent this property in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay in your home. It had exactly what we needed. The only suggestion I have is to have additional towels for guests. Also, the 2nd floor bathroom door squeaked. Just needs some WD40. It felt very homey, clean and we were very comfortable. There was a broken can opener in the drawer, however, I found a brand new one in that same drawer. I threw the broken one away. Thank you for renting your lovely home to us!
