Beautifully remodeled home located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the KC metro. If your family is visiting KC or if your'e just looking for the perfect family stay-cation, then look no further. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sleeps 7-10 persons comfortably with an open floor plan and plenty of space. It features a beautiful newly renovated private swimming pool on a 3/4 acre lot with manicured landscaping, and ample patio furniture for enjoying time in the sun and around the pool. There is plenty of space for the kids to play in the back yard or up front in the quiet cul-de-sac, plus they will love 1/4 Court Basketball area with 10ft goal, playing pool volleyball (supplied), or playing ping pong in the finished basement. The pool deck with two umbrella tables and outdoor BBQ grill are perfect for family birthday parties or reunions. Major highway access is only 5 minutes away and most of the sought after Kansas City attractions such as The Plaza, Legends Racetrack, Arrowhead Stadium & Worlds of Fun theme parks are within a 15-30 minute drive.

This is a wonderful property. Even better than what is reflected in the pictures. I stayed here with 5 of my girlfriends for my 60th birthday. Lots of areas to gather inside - the spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, the open dining area into the kitchen, and the basement where there is a pool table, bar and some seating. The outdoor area is really good. A wooden deck off the kitchen. The area around the pool and hot tub is spacious. There are at least 15 chairs between the two tables with umbrellas and the lounge chairs. The hot tub is spacious. We didn't use the cornhole, board games or ping pong - but between those offerings and the pool, there is much here to keep a group entertained. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and communicative. Location makes it easy to access downtown.

Perfect Spot for a Family Reunion – Beautiful Home & Exceptional Host!

We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion! The home was a great place to gather—plenty of space, and the rooms were fresh, clean, and inviting. The kids were so happy with the pool and hot tub! Shaymond was an outstanding host—very communicative and helpful. He even stopped by personally to assist with the backyard lights, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for home base!

We completely enjoyed the stay! Our only critiques were no window coverings on some windows; and a few too many bugs/ants out by the pool! We would love to come back again for our girls weekend again, hopefully next year!

What a great place! Shaymond and Amber were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and easy to get a hold of. The check in process was super simple and check out wasn't super involved like some places (i.e. where they make you basically clean the entire place).Pros: the backyard is what makes this place! The pool is one of the cleanest/clearest pools I've ever swam in. Be advised it's not super deep - just an FYI if you have teens/adults. I think the deepest is maybe 5.5ft. There are ample pool floats, toys, and towels. The basketball hoop and balls, plus bags, and swing were perfect! And the hot tub was wonderful too! Other pros include the layout of the house and how well-stocked it was (extra linens, toiletries, etc.)Cons: location is pretty far from most activities; however, if you have a car like we did it's not a deal breaker at all. The biggest con for us (with kids) were the window coverings. It's only mini blinds or cellular shades which really don't keep rooms very dark. That's a minor nit to pick, but some curtains would have been helpful. Also, there are a lot of things that imply that the property is monitored inside and out which is a little creepy so I guess just watch what you do...or don't LOLOverall, we would recommend this property and stay there again!

Everything was as pictured and listed. Beds were comfortable. Things were clean. The home had a little more personal clutter than I prefer, but there was still room to "move-in" during our stay. Thank you for preserving this nice tri-level family home.

Medical Treatment

This house has everything that you need to have a good time. Sadly we were there for medical treatment at KU and did not get to enjoy all the house had to offer but I would love to come back. There is something for everyone here and the neighborhood is very quite and safe. The hosts were wonderful to work with and responded very quickly. Highly recommend this house.

Pool for the win!

We had a wonderful time at the house enjoying the pool, hot tub, basketball courts and ping pong. This house is fully stocked with your kitchen needs and entertainment for the full family. The pool was a blessing in the hot days after being out exploring.

Backyard Paradise - a great place for a staycation

I stayed with my husband and 2 older children (one in their later teens and 1 adult). We greatly enjoyed the backyard - the pool, hot tub and basketball area were great. We did outings during the day but rented the house for a 50/50 vacation/staycation. It was very hot during our stay so the pool was wonderful. Now towards dusk the mosquitoes were a bit too friendly, but that is to be expected. The host was a great communicator. He was very quick to answer any questions and I ask a lot of questions! The place was fine for my family but I would take note with young children or older grandparents here were steps and some quite steep esp to access the basement. The house was fully equipped with most everything we needed.

Family Retreat

We had an amazing stay at Shaymond and Amber’s home! All five stars for sure. We absolutely loved the pool and the large backyard, which provided plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy. The basement was fantastic with all the games, and extra space. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and dining ware, making meal prep a breeze. The house was spotless and well-maintained. We were in town for a baseball tournament, and this home was the perfect retreat after long days at the field. Highly recommend!

My dad built this home for our family when I was just two years old and I grew up here. My brother and I inherited the home when our mom passed in 2014, and I recently remodeled both the home and swimming pool in spring of 2022.
