You deserve it - a hassle-free stay at Good Day Sunshine! One of the largest 2 bedroom units in Gulf Highlands with a bright & cheerful vibe, a fully stocked kitchen, pool just steps away, a 7 minute walk to the beach, and centrally located with all that PCB has to offer. Good Day Sunshine is located in Gulf Highlands Beach Resort and has space for up to 6 guests; a comfortable queen bed in each room, a brand new pull out sofa bed in the living room, and a futon in the Florida room.

When you stay at Good Day Sunshine you'll be traveling light. There are plenty of linens & pillows for your use, as well as a pack-n-play and booster seat onsite. There is a beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, a portable corn hole set, beach towels and toys for your all of your beach excursions. We also provide shuffleboard and golf clubs for courts just steps from the back patio. The property is located about 2-3 minutes from some of the best activities PCB has to offer: Ripley's Believe It or Not, Shipwreck Island, Rock-It Lanes, and much more.

Golf Cart Rental Info:
4 seater golf carts are permitted in GHBR. If you are interested in renting one, please let me know and I'll reach out to GHBR owners who rent theirs! They can also be rented through Panama City Golf Carts.

Street legal rental golf carts, 6 seat rental carts and scooters are not permitted within GHBR, per HOA rules. Only licensed drivers are allowed to operate golf carts.

Golf carts are not allowed to be parked on grass, sidewalks or back patios. You may use one of the designated parking spaces in front of the property.

Pet Info:
We allow up to (2) dogs! Pets must be leashed when outside the unit. No pets shall be allowed to be enclosed, caged, or tethered to any object outside any building without the person being responsible being physically present.

Pets are not allowed in common area buildings, fenced areas of swimming pools or within 20 feet of any picnic table on common areas, or recreational facilities.

Local pet ordinances do not allow pets on the public beach, however there is a dog beach/park located at Pier Park.

Pet waste must be collected immediately in an appropriate disposal bag and deposited into a green pet waste receptacle for proper disposal. Please do not dispose of pet waste in the silver garbage collection bin.

Please note that the person responsible for the pet shall be liable for all damage or injuries caused by the pet

Exactly what we needed

Visiting for the PCB Ironman and this was exactly what we needed. Arrived the afternoon before and everything we would need was provided, made the decision to stay in and rest so easy. Location was perfect, close but not so close that we would get stuck in traffic. Plenty to do around the place. Gated community gives you a piece of mind, so quiet. Could not think of anything that would have made it better. We will definitely be trying to stay here again next year. Thank you!

First family beach trip!

I want to start by saying that we booked this property because it was pet friendly so we had planned on bringing our schnauzer with us, but unfortunately he passed away a month before the trip. :( We did have a few cleanliness issues due to it being a pet friendly property, but we had an overall good experience. (Also would like to add that I brought up to owners attention and she apologized and said she would take care of it and was great with communication!) It’s a great location, in the middle of a great part of PCB, and the owner has a welcome gift upon arrival which was very much appreciated and so nice! It’s very close to a pool, and easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. We did not walk to the beach from the property, where we had a toddler we had too much stuff to tote for that long of a haul, and we thought it would just be easier to pack everything up and drive, but I do think it would take longer than 7 minutes to get to the beach from the location. The townhouse has everything you need for your stay and we enjoyed our first family beach trip! :)

Panama City beach family vacay

The reservation process was easy and the property was exactly as stated but a member of our group had an illness, amazingly Sonnie was able to rearrange a later date that everyone was able to attend. The condo is 2 stories but the downstairs half bath is a lifesaver for the gran’s. The kitchen is well stocked, and the furniture is comfy, we used the green coverlets provided as a preventive measure for our little Chihuahua mix. Not much hair but he’s a jumper. The bedrooms are upstairs and if you usually sleep on king size beds (we do) theses will be too small and much less comfortable than you are use too. A pool, mini golf, and shuffle board are just outside the back door and folks are quite friendly. A provided cart will help with your trek to the beach, it easy going but coming back is a bit more challenging. We brought a toddler and the provided gate was a great thing to have to keep her off the stairs, where carpet would benefit from a good scrubbing. The laundry room is a great thing to have and was stocked with extra coolers and beach towels for the forgetful. We sat on the patio in the afternoon enjoying a lemonade under the umbrella and talking with the golfers. Will we stay here again probably not, it’s a great place to stay but with a toddler and gran’s nearly 70 I think we will need a flat next year. Thank you Sonnie for all your hospitality. You made it all possible!!

Very pleasant stay

The house is lovely. Cozy atmosphere. Interior design and layout made us feel at home. Location is very convenient and communication with Sonnie was always smooth.
