Perfect stay., but laundry closet door needs repair, Keutig Coffee Maker broken, curtain mechanism needs to be replaced in all rooms, 1970's shower heads need updating and no cookie sheets available for baking. Other than that, lovely place for a getaway.

While we appreciate the honest feedback, our attentive Destination Amelia team was surprised to receive this as we were in contact with you throughout your visit and you did not mention these concerns. Our team wishes we would have been informed as this is abnormal and both issues could have been quickly addressed. Since your departure, our housekeepers have spent more time deep cleaning the floors and we have had a routine pest control treatment. In the future, please don't hesitate to reach out. We enjoyed the property, but it is not for anyone disabled or mobility challenged. There are no ramps to access the pool or beach from the accommodations and the placement of the elevator landings in between floors was a bit odd…

As for accessibility, these Shipwatch buildings were definitely designed in a way that is better suited to those without mobility limitations since a few stairs are often required at various landings and as you noted, on the boardwalks out to the pool/beach. A good location that was very close to the beach and lovely pool. The unit was clean and comfortable but furnishings a little dated. The beds were comfortable but the sleep sofa was very uncomfortable so we used an air mattress. The kitchen is nice but could use more dishes and cooking utensils. There is no accessible route to the unit, pool or beach so not good for anyone with a walker or wheelchair or for using a cart to haul beach supplies.

We have double checked the kitchen inventory and made sure all our standard items are available, and we have passed along your sleeper sofa input to the owner for consideration.
