Die Villa Capiz ist seit über 30 Jahren ein fortlaufendes Projekt der Visallis. Nach dem Hurrikan Irma wurde das Anwesen nun gründlich renoviert und verbessert und bietet nun ein neues Maß an Luxus und Komfort auf der Insel.
Die Gemeinde St. John und der National Park Service haben hart daran gearbeitet, die Insel wiederherzustellen. Unsere Hausverwalter Peter und Gail sind starke, belastbare Inselbewohner, und zusammen halten wir „Love City“
ein besonderer Ort.

Die Insel ist wieder üppig und grün und die Buchten und Strände sind spektakulär. Die Villa Capiz befindet sich auf dem Gift Hill und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole, St. Thomas, Pillsbury Sound und die umliegenden Inseln. Atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge und magische Regenbögen lassen sich von den geräumigen Decks aus beobachten.

Fabelhafte Restaurants und Bars sind in Cruz Bay nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Angeltouren, Tagessegeln, Schnorcheln, Tauchen und Wandern stehen Ihnen täglich zur Verfügung.

The property was beautiful.The views were amazing. The pool was fabulous. I wish we had been more informed about the kitchen and living room having no air condition. it was too hot to cook in the kitchen and sitting upstairs was not an option until the evening due to the heat.The host and the listings also need to upfront about the ongoing power problems in St Jon and St Thomas. With the price they are renting this property fort needs some updating.Start with a generator to offset the ongoing power issues.

Please know that it is never our intention to mislead or misrepresent Villa Capiz in any way. In regards to the air conditioning, our property description clearly states that we have three air conditioned bedrooms complemented with many luxurious, open air, island style indoor and outdoor living spaces. We’re sorry you apparently missed that. To address the power outage situations occurring in the islands, they are, of course, random and out of our control, and especially inconvenient for those folks without alternative energy. We hope you appreciated our solar power and battery backup energy capabilities which provided uninterrupted electricity throughout your stay, day and night. We are confused about your comment of wanting a generator. With a little intentional conservation it’s easy to live completely off the grid at Villa Capiz, even without a generator (which we do have for emergencies). The Satellite WiFi also remains functional throughout power outages. For those folks looking for hotel style accommodations, maybe Villa Capiz is not for you. For those looking for a luxury tropical home that immerses one comfortably in nature with a pool, hot tub and privacy, we invite you to experience Villa Capiz.

Wow! What a terrific place! We selected the Villa Capiz based on the view, and it did not disappoint! The view of Great Cruz Bay and the surrounding area was amazing. Right from the beginning of our reservation, the owner Debbie and the Property Managers Robyn and Aaron were very responsive and helpful in answering our questions. The villa was very clean when we arrived, and Robyn/Aaron made sure to show us where everything was and how everything worked (i.e., hot tub, pool). The beds were comfortable, the air conditioners cooled the bedrooms, and the kitchen/grill worked very well. We loved the sound of the tree frogs in the evening! We would highly recommend the Villa Capiz and hope to stay there again.

Great house with a great view

We had a great stay at this lovely house with its zen feel. Wonderful view from both levels including the pool. It had everything we needed for our many beach excursions as well. The managers were very friendly, helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend this house!!

Family Get-away

We had a wonderful week at Villa Capiz. The house met all our needs for a week get-away with our three adult children. Great to come back from day excursions exploring the island to jumping in the pool and cooking nice dinners together while enjoying gorgeous sunsets. Beautiful home.

Villa Cadiz was a great experience! Beautiful view, and amazing sunsets! Spacious property, very clean, and well equipped kitchen. Plus pool, jacuzzi and grill. I was impressed by the landscape and the gorgeous mango tree (we ate some).The property is a 10-12 min drive from Cruz Bay. Totally worth the drive to enjoy calm and privacy (and the view).Robyn and Aaron are spectacular managers too. Easy check in, very responsive and excellent recommendations on what to do and where to eat.I would definitely go back!

Amazing Home with Amazing Views

We had a great time at this home. We ended up switching locations, then also had to extend our stay due to traveling issues. The property managers and owners were absolutely amazing and accommodating. The house was super clean and in amazing condition. The house has a very cool design and decorations and the view and pool area are amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Villa Capiz was just as advertised. The house and grounds are beautiful. The location was perfect...10 minutes from all restaurants and shopping. The beach chairs and coolers were appreciated too. Robyn was flexible to meet us earlier when our travel plans changed and responsive with any questions. We will stay here again on our next visit to St. John. Thank you!

Villa Capiz is far and away exceeded our expectations. The house has everything you need and is better than pictured if that's possible. Endless hours spent outside on the beautiful pool deck with some of the best views I've had while staying on STJ. We will be back!

Incredible Stay in St. John

Breathtaking views from this gorgeous home on St. John. Perfect for a family or several couples, 3 well appointed bedrooms. Cooked breakfast every day in the gourmet kitchen and made use of the pristine grill with a sunset view of St. Thomas to the west. Very large pool for the island plus a hot tub that was great in the evening. Nicely appointed home with landscaping that made it feel like a private oasis. It will be difficult to return to St. John and not stay at Villa Capiz.

Everything was perfect at Villa Capiz! The house was filled with everything we needed for a stress-free rental. Beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, even stainless steel cups with lids! The owners were super helpful leading up to the week and throughout. They have contacts for everything! Taxis, boat rentals, jeep rentals… you name it. We will absolutely be back as soon as we can!

Air conditioned bedrooms and open air living spaces provide a blend of delightful experiences on this tropical island. Our off grid capability is possible with 39 solar panels and 3 battery powerwalls that provide daytime and nighttime energy.
