 EXPERIENCE Olive Oil and Wine tasting at Home or visiting  the well known wineries of Villa Arceno (inside the estate,a 10 minutes walk), Brolio (5 km away, where the Chianti formula was invented), Felsina(4 km), San Felice(10 km),Villa a Sesta(4 km) and explore within one hour the renowned nearby wine regions of Montapulciano and Montalcino.

VISIT the enchanting historical cities of Siena (20 minutes) Florence(1 hr), Arezzo (40 minutes) and, in the near region of Umbria, Perugia(50 minutes) and Assisi(1hr);
San Gimignano (UNESCO World Heritage), Volterra, Pienza and Cortona also conveniently located within 40/50 minutes.

We are happy to assist you, before and after arrival, offering our experience and knowledge of the area, helping with reservations and recommending itineraries for the many cities and villages in the immediate vicinity with visits to some of the famous local vineyards and cellars.

We can arrange for talented  chefs to come to the Villa to cook,  private cooking lessons and present a fabulous evening meal for your party.
Alternatively, you may prefer to dine out at one of the many outstanding local restaurants that are referred to in the House Book along with several other typical local activities, excursions and private tours,  sports like tennis, golf (three golf courses, Bagnaia and Val di Chiana 35 km, Ugolino 55 km ), bike renting, horse riding, go karting, rafting , outlet shopping, cooking classes and more.

Upon your arrival you will be offered a fabulous welcome basket with local products and drinks.

Complementary Chianti wine and olive oil for the whole stay and a selection of after dinner spirits and traditional wines.

LOWER LEVEL: a large living room, TV, stereo system, comfortable sofa and armchairs, a futon (for 1 adult or 2 children) dining table for 10, handmade tiled stove.

A fully equipped travertine marble kitchenette and bathroom/shower serve the master bedroom.

MEZZANINE FLOOR, 3 steps up the living room, offers a bedroom: 2 single beds in wrought iron, a pull-out bed, POSSIBILITY OF DOUBLE BED;
En suite bathtub/shower bathroom.

On this floor there is also the laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

UPPER FLOOR: a large kitchen with a corner fireplace, excellent kitchen / dining facilities. WiFi and Docking Station.

A master bedroom with antique furniture and an adjacent bathroom/shower.

THE OUTDOOR: two patios and a large terrace surrounded by ornamental flowers for private sunbathing and outdoor dining - BBQ, 2 tables for 6, 4 sun beds in the garden / terrace and 2 by the pool. The swimming pool and gardens, with a selection of local plants, fragrant herbs and Mediterranean bushes offer a peaceful and unspoiled environment.

Except for the period May 15th - September 15th, a pull out bed in mezzanine room and a futon in the Living Area for 2 more people (a maximum of 8 guests) are available for an extra charge, please ask for more info.

The house has thick walls of local stone and is well ventilated through numerous windows; it remains comfortably cool throughout the summer, however a new air conditioning system is now available.

Heating available in spring, autumn and winter is included in the price.

The swimming pool is located in a separate garden, which is shared exclusively between three neighbors. It is open from May 15th to September 30th.
Cleaned daily and rarely busy allows for privacy and relaxation.

The car is recommended, however it is possible to book a driver for long distances and local excursions.
