We love our cabin and we love the mountains even more! If you are looking for a place to truly unplug and relax without the noise of our modern world, this IS the place for you. It has provided us with countless wonderful memories of being in nature and enjoying the healing benefit it provides.
The cabin was built in the early 1900's, and Moonshine was made here by a man named Sam Cabe. Mr. Cabe was also a revenuer and quite a character. You can learn more about the history of moonshine in Wilkes County at the Copper Barrel in North Wilkesboro. This area of town also provides a few wonderful antique shops that also gives the seeker more information about how the people in the area of Wilkes county have lived through the generations.
Additions of a stone fireplace, loft, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom were gradually added through the years, but the original one-room cabin and 100 - year old logs are still exposed. This will give you that cozy cabin feeling that everyone loves.
This cabin is a unique place and one that you will always remember. We want this to be a good memory, however, so it is very important for you to READ AND make sure that you UNDERSTAND our guest rules and recommendations WHICH IS SENT TO YOU IN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT before booking this property.
