The Cabin is a peaceful property, surrounded by nature.

The space
If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, look no further. As soon as you walk in this spacious cabin, you will experience a feeling of calm and peace. Located on a 20 acres lot, this cabin is surrounded by nature. There are plenty of rocking chairs on the porch to read, sip on coffee (included with your stay), or just sit and be. Wake up to the sounds of birds chirping in the distance, or sit at night on the porch, and enjoy the sounds of frogs, and watch as the deer walk by in a sea of fireflies. At night, there are millions of stars to observe. Eventually drift off to sleep and dream!

Other things to note
The cabin is located 25 minutes north east of Durham, 40 minutes north west of Wake Forest and 50 minutes north of downtown Raleigh.

We don't have access to cable TV or a TV antenna, however the living room and loft TVs are equipped with ROKU devices with access to the cabin WiFi. The cabin now has high speed internet! There is also a DVD player in the living room and a library of movies and TV shows to select from. Puzzles, board games and books are also available during your stay.

Cell phone signal can be spotty. The WiFi in the cabin can be selected to access full cell phone service. Prior to booking, be sure that your phone will accept this feature. The feature can be found in settings, called "WiFi calling".

The property is located within 5 miles of 2 beautiful wedding venues making it a perfect place the the bride and groom, or family visiting from out of town.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious home cooked meals.

Maximum number of adult guests is six (6). Children under 6, please inquire.

Please no pets, no parties, gatherings, conferences, celebrations or reunions allowed.

This is a non smoking property.

The Host can cancel your booking at any time if the house rules are violated.

No wood is provided for the fireplace.

Guests have access to the entire cabin, except for the garage and 2 closets.

Exterior security cameras are located above the garage door, at the door bell, on the porch and in the backyard.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. We stayed for 4 days while visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. The cabin is comfortable, clean, well appointed and check- in & communication with owner a breeze. We will be going back many more times in the future!

This may be the nicest rental property we've ever stayed at. Quiet. Secluded, but not hard to get to. And the house is immaculate. No signs of damage from previous guests. High-quality furniture. Well maintained and with all the details in mind of the guests. We'll be staying here every time we're in town.

Loved the cabin

Loved the property and our stay, Anne was a great host! Check in was super easy, check out was super easy. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, bowls, even things to store leftovers in. We added to the spice collection. The porch was a perfect, peaceful, quiet spot to hang out and chat.A bit of advice: Put your heaviest sleeper or your earliest riser downstairs, the wood floors aren’t very quiet when people are moving around upstairs. And if you are shorter than 5’4”, bring a stepstool, the place was built by giants! lol.

Lovely cabin on 20 secluded acres

Absolutely the only listing close to where we needed it, so fit our needs well. Immaculate home with everything you could ever need throughout the spacious rooms, especially the kitchen. Worked really well for our unique situation. Only downside, which we laughed about a lot(!), the beds are very tall, the cupboards are tall, even the couches are suited for taller folks. Not a negative, just felt a bit like Goldilocks a few times. Full disclosure, I'm 5'4" so somewhat vertically challenged, but I'm guessing original builder was a tall one! Loved the house 99%.

Perfect Getaway in a Quiet, Beautiful Setting

Our stay at this cabin in Stem, NC, was fantastic! The cabin is set back about a quarter-mile off the road, providing a peaceful and private retreat. The setting is quiet and serene, making it the perfect place to relax. Inside, the cabin is well-appointed with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Everything was spotless, and all amenities were in great working order. It’s clear that the owners take great care of the property. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely plan a return trip. Highly recommend!

Good stay for the family

Nice place 30 minutes from Durham. Perfect for our family of 5. Floors were a little slick for our toddler but no biggie. Well outfitted kitchen and quality paper products in the bathrooms is always welcome.

Great for Quiet Get Away

I stayed at this lovely cabin with 2 of my girlfriends. We wanted to stay somewhere close to home (Raleigh) but far enough removed to feel like we were escaping reality and definitely accomplished this with this cabin. We were easily able to stream a yoga class for ourselves in the spacious living room and the. Drive a short distance to Durham for several dinner choices. Overall we were super pleased and would definitely stay again! The only issue we encountered was how slick the stairs were and would have liked a railing on the wall side and a runner down the center.

Disney could not have orchestrated a more perfect experience. Que the Frogs and Birds. Butterflies, ready? Don't forget the Deer, all four families. If it's peace and tranquility you're looking for, look no further pilgrim, your search has ended. A nice additional touch are the red reflectors to guide you down the path home. Quiet, cozy, cabin retreat

Loved this quaint little cabin off the beaten path. Perfect location for us and great place to relax and get away from it all. Found this in an area nearby to Creedmoor, where our daughter and her family lives. We look forward to coming back and staying here on our next visit! It is a ways back off the main road, but that ensures that no one will bother you and you won’t hear any traffic or congestion. The cabin’s interior is immaculate and the entire structure is well-built, modern, and stylish. The cabin looks rustic, but has all the modern conveniences and everything is provided. Overall, a great property and host that we hope to use again.
