Dieses ruhige, gemütliche, komfortable und sehr freundliche Ferienhaus am Falls Lake liegt zentral zwischen Durham, Raleigh und Wake Forest. Zum Research Triangle Park sind es ca. 25 min und zum Flughafen Raleigh Durham ca. 20 min. Das Haus ist auf 2 Hektar mit einem eingezäunten Hof und Platz im Freien. 1 Kingsize-Bett und 1 Queensize-Bett. Dieses Haus verfügt über eine Terrasse mit einer Feuerstelle für kühle Abende und eine große Veranda für warme Sommertage mit einem Bett im Freien und einer großartigen Bar. Weniger als 1,6 km von der Bootsrampe Falls Lake entfernt, die sich am Highway 50 befindet und direkt gegenüber vom Mountain to Sea Trail liegt. Gut erzogene Hunde willkommen!

This cottage might be one of the best rental homes ever! It is absolutely charming - well decorated, comfy beds, great kitchen & appliances, beautiful fully fenced back yard and deck with a TV and porch bed. Perfect for your dogs - my dog loved the basket of toys! Molly was wonderful to work with. We will absolutely be staying here again when we are back in the area!!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The home was clean, well stocked, and in a peaceful location with easy access to nearby towns. Molly was welcoming and very responsive. The farm fresh eggs were very thoughtful. Our dog loved the fenced back yard. We would definitely return!

Secret Garden

What a special place! Everything about this place is beautiful - surrounded by wood and flowers, outdoor living at its finest. A safe haven for our dog with vast fenced in area to explore. Owner offered many thoughtful amenities, including dog beds and toys.

Visit with our so sons.

The property was absolutely lovely and so much fun with the clever canine touches and whimsical decor. We were visiting our 2 sons who live in Raleigh and Durham. This was a perfect in between spot. We hiked, went to the Raleigh flea market and out to dinner.

My Stay in a Peaceful place

I stayed in this beautiful home on the way down to NC and I liked it so much I booked it again on my way home. It was just a wonderful stay. The patio and the yard are where I had my coffee in the morning as I watched hummingbirds. The home decorations made me smile 😊

Comphy, clean and fun

Molly has really made this place special for both people and their dogs. We appreciated all the welcoming touches and the solidness of the place. Beds and couches were comfortable and the house was warm and cozy.

A Perfect 10

Molly is an excellent host for this lovely cottage. Her attention to details is above all the rest. We loved how peaceful it is and what a wonderful back porch to hang out on with a fenced in backyard. Our springer spaniel Oakley loved it. We plan on booking this cottage every time we are in the area.

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable

We fell in love with this place. It’s probably my favorite rental this far. It is very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor space is incredible. The silliest thing of all was trying to figure out that darn keurig coffee maker. LOL but it was a very nice stay I loved the property and the big thing I liked it was the first time my little dogs could walk freely down into the woods without getting lost or hurt no holes in the fence . And the fence went right to the ground no way for the puppies to escape that was a huge relief. And all the great plants,flowers, saw a lot of hummingbirds and beautiful butterflies! I could go on and on but I will save some stuff for the next time we go there!

This was out by the outside patio with a waterfall and burning pit (not seen in photo)

Cute house, great host

I always get nervous when I book a rental that has perfect reviews, but this property earned its rating fair and square. Great outdoor space and cozy (but spacious) indoor space. Plus it has my favorite thing of all - no weird restrictions on the thermostat! The power went out for a little while on the first day, but the host was great about communicating with me regarding updates from the power company.

Weekend get away

My husband and I stayed at Molly’s beautiful cottage while we checked out the towns in the area. From the moment we stepped through the door we were welcomed to sweet place that felt like home. Comfortable and inviting from every aspect! So clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated inside and out. We spent lots much time on the cozy porch, surrounded by lush flowers and plants, such a peaceful space. And you can’t get more pet friendly! From the furniture (beds for your pups!) to the wonderful fenced in property, your fur babies will love it here. Molly is an outstanding host, keeping in close contact with us from the start to finish of our stay. Her kind note and fresh farm eggs in the fridge were so thoughtful, this is a place we will come back to every chance we get!

Lovely Little Oasis

Fun and funky little cottage with beautiful landscaping. We saw so many birds including a couple of hummingbirds! Molly made check in/out painless while allowing us to both come in a little early and leave a little later. Only small disappointments were the lack of hot tub (which Molly informed us ahead of time as it’s an issue on VRBo’s end) and the fact the jets on the whirlpool tub just wouldn’t work for me. But Molly was very responsive through it all and promised the check out the tub once we left. Overall a lovely experience and I would definitely stay again (and bring the dog next time).

Magical Stay at Molly's Sugar Shack!

Decorated beautifully for fall/thanksgiving, this house has literally everything plus plus plus. We enjoyed the firepit outside and grilled our own steaks for dinner. Found farm-fresh eggs left for us in the fridge perfect for some yummy breakfast! The house is very clean but doesn't smell like toxic chemical cleaning products like some other vrbo houses I have stayed at (Lysol overdose alert!), we could tell, the owner Molly has a personal connection to the house that can be felt throughout. The pictures online do it no justice, it looks even better in person. Everywhere you look is something magical that lifts your spirits. The beds were very comfy and we slept like logs :-D Thank you Molly, you really have a talent for creating good energy and cozy home vibes!

Country charm

This property checked all of our boxes. It had country charm, privacy, great outdoor space, wonderful landscaping and just a great feeling of serenity. But the best part was revealed once you opened the front door. It was obvious the owner had spent a great deal of time putting together furnishings and artwork that were fun, eclectic and interesting. Then there was the kitchen. It had everything you could wish for with plates, bowls, cups, and utensils that had been collected over a long period of time. The kitchen appliances were all done in aqua which fit this house perfectly. The covered outdoor space was welcoming and wonderfully furnished. We had several BBQs while there and everyone loved it. You’ll not lose interest in this property while there. We were there ten days and continued to find interesting things right up until we left. We will definitely be back.

Stay here with your dog!

We had the best time and my only regret is not booking a longer stay. The property was decorated inside and out for spooky season-I love Halloween so that was a special bonus. I felt welcomed from the moment I booked until I left. And there's no denying furry family members will feel the same. There's dog beds, couches, kennels, bowls, secure fencing, gates to not only help them feel at home, but to keep them safe. Exploring the outdoor property always resulted in finding something new-a pretty flower, cute decoration, multiple places to sit and enjoy the scenery, thoughtful placement of all those things. The well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook there or bring in food and enjoy it. The indoor fireplace seen from 2 rooms was so cozy on the cooler nights. The pops of color throughout indoor/outdoor spaces literally made me smile. Molly was quick and easy to communicate with too. We spent a lot of time outside or on the back porch. That's the thing about this place: there is a spot for everyone to enjoy. Stay here, you won't regret it!
