Great spot!

After being canceled at our original vacation rental due to hurricane damage, Vacasa placed us in midnight cove and it was a very nice upgrade. We had extra space and the room had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and the pool was very nice. Would recommend this location

Overall a nice condo. Some minor updates from wear and tear need to be addressed. Pool is very nice. Could use some beach chairs and umbrella which were not provided.

We had booked this condo for our family’s trip and were pretty disappointed in the experience. The location was great and it was two couples and a fifth adult so the two king beds and pull-out were going to be perfect. Our expectations far exceeded our experience. There were no sheets for the pull-out so we had to use comforters and blankets to cover the mattress. The couch cushions had stains on them and the arm rests were caved in on the sides from use. From walking around barefoot right after we got there, the bottom of our feet were black so it was clear the floors hadn’t been properly cleaned. The listing advertises AC, but what it doesn’t say is that you cannot set it lower than 73. I understand putting a limit on how low it can be set to protect the AC from damage, however, that temperature is usually at least 70, especially during winter months when it’s cooler. When we checked in, the sliding glass door didn’t lock so it was possible someone could enter through the balcony. We called to report the AC and door items and we were told that the AC was locked at that temperature by design, that they would look into a portable AC unit, and that the earliest someone could be there for the door would be the next day. After nearly 24 hours, and several follow up phone calls, someone arrived, but he had no idea about the AC unit. Lastly, the shower door wasn’t fully secure and the drain was clogged. Would not stay here again.

We’re very sorry your stay did not meet expectations. Sheets for the pull-out bed are always provided upon request, and the couch will be professionally cleaned and repaired. The unit was cleaned prior to arrival, and the floors and shower drain would have been addressed immediately if notified. The air conditioning system is functioning as designed with a minimum setting of 73°F, and this has been clarified in the listing. The sliding glass door lock was repaired within 24 hours, and the second-floor unit has a safety railing. We regret that our follow-up fell short and appreciate your feedback, which will help us improve for future guests.

Better places to stay in the area

Lots of other human hairs on the master bed mattress sheet.You cannot lower the thermostat below 73 degrees.No live cable TV. You have to use your own streaming service login or watch reruns on Roku.Does not have a patio.Screen door is broken.Fridge door doesn't close tightly.Only given 1 garbage bad for a week stay.Pool was nice.Where you can sit on beach is misleading

Black mold on ceiling

Location is great and the property was as expected but the first day we called about an abundance of black mold on the ceiling. We were told that someone would come clean and never heard anything again. Property didn’t have laundry on facility grounds either. It was under construction so we had to drive to find a laundromat. Overall the property could be fine but clearly hadn’t been occupied for awhile to smelled like mold and was very stale air for the first day.

Good location and property.

For the most part good but they gave us wrong code to get in door. Called and they told us right code. We had to call for beach access code. Door in living room to open the outside was stuck.. off track. Man came first time. Got stuck again, called and no one came. Worried about rain getting in. Should have beach chairs in condo.

Beautiful place!

The view was beautiful and the condo was very clean (love it that the mattresses were comfortable AND encased). My son said the pool was “too warm” but l loved it and what do you expect for Florida in August?! More “me” time in the evenings! Laundry facility was close (in parking lot) and a deal to wash AND dry a load of clothes for a total of $3. Short drive to Mote aquarium and seeing the giant sea turtles and manatees was an experience I’m glad l didn’t miss. Private entrance to the beach is a 5 min walk directly across the street. I almost didn’t book when l read about the noise monitoring…my husband is hearing impaired and my teen boy laughs loudly too, but we never got a call to quiet down so l guess we were OK! I would def stay here again if in the area!
