Silver Suites Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We honestly had a wonderful time. The location was great and so close to the beach and the property was nice and clean. We had our 6 month old baby with us as well. We kept it organized the whole time which helped with the flow and being organized with our daughter. The couch was nice and comfy and the kitchen was nice too- however, the bed frame was broken on the right side, which made it so loud getting on and off the bed. Also- we were pretty hot- the AC was working but it’s a smaller unit, and we felt warmer most of the time. We had to turn it pretty low to get comfy. Overall, it was a nice stay. Those are the only 2 things I’d correct.

Hello. This resort is the absolute best thing Michigan City has to offer. So glad we booked here as there wasn’t much to do in the actual downtown area for us. New Buffalo was a short drive for shopping etc. but a great option! Guest house is pretty self explanatory from the listing. It appeared very clean upon arrival but quickly noticed some fruit flies that were a little bothersome. Definitely minimal items as described. I love to wipe counters off etc but didn’t see any products to use which I definitely could have brought myself. No biggie!! Shower pressure great. Bed a bit uncomfortable but nothing one couldn’t get past. Do want to mention would be nice to have an outdoor spicket to use to wash sand off. Love love love the location! Close to everything! Feels private, nice deck to ourselves. Parking at the check in location seemed a bit tricky but actually turned out just fine. Appreciate knowing they do sell ice at the little resort store.Long review but I appreciate when others leave these as well. We will definitely come back and this price and small space was perfect for 2 people! Thanks!

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this guest house! Located within a beautiful resort-style community, it offered all the comforts of home and was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.One of our favorite aspects was the location. It was just a short walk to the pool, sports courts, waterfront, fishing areas, watercraft rentals, and dining options. The property also served as an excellent home base for exploring the area. We easily visited Indiana Dunes State Park and National Park, the beach, and Washington Park Zoo. Deep River Waterpark and Zao Island were both less than an hour away.As an added bonus, the community was welcoming. The neighbors were thoughtful, the property staff was helpful, and the community was hopping with families on vacation. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to local attractions.

Great location for 2

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Silver Suite was very clean and comfortable. It is quite small, but we didn’t mind since there were just two of us. It is very close to the beach, so there was no need to rent a golf cart. The only 2 drawbacks are the lack of ample storage and parking remotely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved it here. Exactly what we were looking for. Short walk to the beach.Cell service was spotty, and the wifi went out a couple times. No issues for us since we were there to disconnect anyway. Just be aware if you need to be connected.

Cute place

We enjoyed our time here and it was as advertised. I will just say this rental does not have its own parking spot and you have to park in an overflow parking lot. Depending on which lot has open spaces it could be a minute walk or a 15 minute walk 😃

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was perfect for my family of 3. Close to the beach and the resort amenities. The wagon and beach gear provided was very useful. Only minor issue is my full size truck did not fit on the small driveway and I had to park in the overflow lot. Not a huge deal as the lot was pretty close.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute little place but smelled strongly of weed. At 6:30 am the first morning roofers started installing a new roof next door ugh. Out of season so no kayaking or restaurant

Could be excellent with a few tweaks.

This place had pros and cons. It’s a new remodel and decorated very well. I think the property showed a little wear being that we stayed at the end of the summer season. For example, the towel bar in the bathroom was missing, half the outlets had no power, the interior of the fridge was dripping water etc. The property was not cleaned adequately prior to our stay. There was food on the comforter, dead bugs on the bathroom window sill, pillowcase was stained, and trash can cover was not cleaned, used dirty kitchen sponge etc. I was fine with it because it is a beach rental and I know that they rent based on location alone. My wife on the other hand was not pleased. She wiped down everything. The placed could have been better appointed. There was no syran wrap or aluminum foil, there was no surface cleaning spray, no beach towels (thankfully, we knew this in advance from calling prior to arrival), no blanket for the futon. We bought the additional stuff we needed. However, we did have to call the property manager about the lack of blanket and someone delivered a blanket for us the first night. Location is awesome. Right across from the beach. With a little better cleaning by the property management company and a few better appointed extras to make it more complete, this would be excellent. It was still very good and we enjoyed our stay.

It was cute and big enough for what we needed.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our little studio. It was very clean, bright and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect to get to the beach! We had to park in the lot by the tennis courts as there was no space for our car on the property. We also felt that the stone and brick walkway was dark and uneven when coming in at night and could possibly have some lighting added. We would come back however!

An inspirational vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at Silver Suites, a lovely little studio-size unit that looked brand new. It was located very close to Lake Shore Drive and the boardwalk to the beach. The studio was well-equipped and I especially loved the galley kitchen which was great for cooking and meal prep. We had family members staying at a few locations at Beachwalk and spent mornings and evenings enjoying long walks on the beach shore, collecting stones and we even rolled out our yoga mats on the beach. The kids spent days at the beach. Beachwalk is such a lovely place. We'll definitely be back and I would love to stay at Silver Suites again.
