BlackRock Luxury Lodge liegt auf einem wunderschönen, etwa einen halben Acre großen Wüstengrundstück mit 12 ausgewachsenen Joshua-Bäumen und bietet Gästen ein seltenes und authentisches Hochwüstenerlebnis, nur wenige Schritte vom Black Rock Canyon Campground und dem High View Nature Trail entfernt. Genießt die Wunder des Parks direkt von eurem Garten aus.

Unterkunft:
Diese geräumige Lodge verfügt über vier gut ausgestattete Schlafzimmer: drei King-Suiten mit Sitzecken und Bergblick sowie ein gemütliches Zimmer mit Queensize-Bett in der Nähe der Küche und des Gästebads. Drei moderne Badezimmer sorgen für Komfort und Privatsphäre für Familien oder Gruppen.

Beheizter Salzwasserpool & Spa:
Entspanne dich im beheizten Salzwasserpool und im Spa, umgeben von Wüstenlandschaft und schattigen Sitzbereichen. Entspanne dich ganz ungestört im Schatten deiner eigenen Joshua-Bäume.

Poolpflege:
Unser Pool-Spezialist pflegt den Pool dienstags und freitags zwischen 12:00 und 14:00 Uhr; das dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Vielen Dank für eure Mithilfe.

Besondere Merkmale:
Die Lodge verfügt über ein großes Oberlicht und ein Innenatrium, das natürliches Licht mit einem warmen, rustikal-modernen Design verbindet. Ein geräumiger Ess- und Wohnbereich bietet einen großen Tisch, eine Heimkino-Anlage mit großem Fernseher und ein Ecksofa – perfekt für Familienfeiern.

Voll ausgestattete Küche:
Die Gourmetküche verfügt über eine große Kochinsel, eine Frühstücksecke, eine Kaffeebar und eine angeschlossene Bibliothek. Koche mit hochwertigem Calphalon-Kochgeschirr, einem Instant Pot, einer Keurig-Kaffeemaschine und einem gut gefüllten Gewürzschrank.

Rückzugsort im Freien:
Entspanne dich auf der überdachten Terrasse mit Blick auf die Wüstenberge. Der Hinterhof ist wie geschaffen für Sternbeobachtungen und ruhige Abende am Grillplatz oder einfach dazu, die Wüstenbrise unter deinen 12 Joshua-Bäumen zu genießen.

Sternbeobachtung:
Dank minimaler Lichtverschmutzung ist der Nachthimmel ein Highlight im BlackRock Luxury Lodge. Genieße spektakuläre Sternbeobachtungen, ohne den Komfort deines Gartens verlassen zu müssen.

Natur erkunden:
Begib dich direkt auf den High View Nature Trail oder spaziere zum Black Rock Campground, um zu wandern und Wildtiere zu beobachten. Erlebe die natürliche Schönheit des Joshua-Tree-Nationalparks hautnah.

Sicherheit und Barrierefreiheit:
Die Lodge verfügt über ein um zwei Stufen abgesenktes Wohnzimmer und einen Terrassenbereich; Gäste mit eingeschränkter Mobilität sollten vorsichtig sein.

Haustierregelung:
Haustiere sind nach vorheriger Genehmigung willkommen. Maximal zwei Haustiere pro Aufenthalt. Haustiere müssen stubenrein, ruhig und im Impfschutz auf dem neuesten Stand sein. Haltet Haustiere von Möbeln und Betten fern, lasst sie nicht unbeaufsichtigt und räumt ihre Hinterlassenschaften weg. Gäste haften für alle durch Haustiere verursachten Schäden.

Black Rock Luxury Lodge is certainly that in every respect. The property is wonderfully pristine, with beautiful furnishings, huge living room, cozy den and large bedrooms, each with their own Smart TV. The kitchen is superb and filled with everything you would ever need for preparing meals. The outside, with its Joshua Trees and desert views around the hot tub and pool provide for relaxing enjoyment as well as a mesmerizing ambiance, especially after dark. Also, parking in the garage was a nice added benefit.This home was everything we had hoped for and was the perfect place to spend a long weekend with relatives and in-laws. The six of us (thee couples) had a grand time enjoying all the amenities and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Finally, Skip was extremely helpful and quickly provided answers to any questions we had. Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed our week stay over Christmas! Everything was exactly as described and the host provided instructions, which made it easy to operate everything around the home. The outdoor spa was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. The host kindly checked in after the first day to make sure everything was up to par. Would definitely stay again!

This house worked out perfectly for our family of eight. The home is well laid out, beautifully furnished and comfortable. We were in the pool and the hot tub every day. The proximity for hiking in Joshua Tree was a definite plus. Having never been to the park before, Joshua Tree was even more beautiful and awe inspiring than I imagined. Skip and Monica were great hosts. Communication was easy, and the home was well stocked. It is obvious that the hosts know what their guests need and they provide it for them. I hope I get the chance to come back here someday - so does the rest of my family!

Excellent family vacation

Superb luxury property that accommodated all of our needs. Great location near to the park and all shopping. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax for our week stay. Skip and Monica were very responsive when we contacted them. A very nice 5 star stay.

Don't Miss This Gem: Perfect VRBO for Exploring and Unwinding

This VRBO was amazing! It had everything we could've needed, even extras like spices and dog bowls. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at night, with incredible star views. Plus, the location was super convenient to hikes and yummy food. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great Experience

Stayed here for a mom's weekend with girlfriends and we had a blast. We did the trail in the back, did the Pioneertown and enjoyed the house!

Hands down one of the best houses we've ever rented! Skip was extremely responsive, the house decor / layout / cleanliness was top tier. The beds were so comfortable, got some of the best sleep of my life there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Skip’s and Monica’s home. They were quick to communicate when we had questions and went out of their way to accommodate our unique needs. The home was clean and the area is peaceful with plenty of opportunity for out door exploring. Highly recommend this place for your next Yucca Valley visit!

Great desert escape

We had a great stay in Joshua Tree. The property itself is very welcoming and tranquil. It was a perfect escape from LA for a few days. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. We walked to a trailhead for a nice hike in Black Rock canyon but spent most of our time by the pool relaxing.

We are thrilled to share that we acquired this property in November 2020 and have spent a year meticulously renovating and preparing the house to make it the perfect desert oasis. We fell in love with the location and the stunning views that can be seen from every window, and we've worked hard to create a luxurious indoor space that blends seamlessly with the natural beauty of the surrounding desert.

This property is especially meaningful to us because it was our largest project yet, and we're proud to say it's now the fourth vacation rental in our portfolio. We believe our guests will appreciate the care and attention we've put into every detail, from the high-quality furnishings to the thoughtful amenities we've included to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We can't wait to share this special place with you and hope you'll choose to make it your home away from home during your time in the desert.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

We love the location at the top of Sky-Harbor right next to the boundary of Joshua Tree National Park at Black Rock Canyon Campground and Horse Camp. Getting around Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree is a breeze, with Highway 62 running through the entire city. Along the way, you'll find Morongo Valley gas stations, Cactus Mart, and a variety of unique vintage stores with cafes sprinkled in. Be sure to stop by the Frontier Cafe on Pioneer Road and Hwy 62 before checking out the art display at the ACME gift shop out back, and don't miss the inviting Hoof and Post and other nearby shops.

There are also several grocery stores along Hwy 62, including Stater Brothers, Vons, and Grocery Outlet, as well as a row of fast food options that includes Arby’s, McDonald's, Del Taco, Sonics, and Starbucks. Towards Yucca Valley's end, you'll find the Super Walmart and Home Depot, along with more chain eateries like Steak and Shake, Panda Express, and Taco Bell.

Joshua Tree City is home to stunning scenic views and unique stores, including the must-visit Rock Shop and Joshua Tree Coffee. If you're up for an adventure, head down Park Ave. to discover Coyote Corner, JT Saloon (which can have a long wait but is worth it), JT Visitor Center, and the Crochet Museum. Park Ave. is also the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, where you can explore the breathtaking landscapes and take on a variety of hikes. Note that there is a fee of around $30.00 to enter the park, but it's well worth it. Our favorite hike is Parker Dam, and we highly recommend checking out the photo-worthy Skull Rock while you're there.
