This review is a very unfair assessment of our place and the many other positive reviews that significantly outnumber this review are proof of that. We are available to reach though the VRBO inbox and by phone or text message. We are open and accessible by phone to our guests at all times. The residential area that our unit is in is filled with home owners, families, quality residents who contribute to a quiet, calm and safe community in which our unit is located. As is the case with any major metropolitan city in the U.S., nice areas are often located just blocks or even only a block from less than desirable areas. Such is the case with our unit and just about any other unit anywhere. We cannot be held responsible for what is going on in the blocks adjacent from our unit. If our neighborhood is considered bad, it would be more so reflected in our other reviews. Also, if you think the French Quarter is safer, feel free to try your luck there, as it sees more than its fair share of armed robberies, attacks of innocent visitors on the street, car vandalism, car thefts, car jackings, shootings, fights, stabbings, drug activity, enormous amounts of trash on the streets and so much more that is completely absent from our beautiful community. VRBO and our policy about your decision to book another place to stay is clearly outlined and you were aware of it when you made that decision. We advise any and all hosts to never rent to Kalli T. This person does not deserve to use platforms such as VRBO or any similar platform.

This guest Anne B. is being absolutely dishonest and outright misleading in her entire review of our property. Neighborhood: Our area is a very quiet area filled with home owners and families. As with most areas of New Orleans, great areas are often adjacent or very close to unsafe areas. It's the nature of this city and most major metropolitan cities anywhere in the country. We cannot be held responsible for a not so great street that is blocks away. Proximity to French Quarter: VRBO shows you on its own map the approximate location of the property and reveals the exact physical address after you pay to book the property. There is no illusion about us being only 10 minutes from the French Quarter by car or rideshare. False Claims about property cleanliness: Factually false, dishonest. She is simply lying and there is nothing we can do about that. We urge all hosts to never rent to Anne B. This person is a complete and total liar. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of our property. Her claims are simply false. There are no bugs. Every floor, surface, everything is professionally cleaned and sanitized properly to prepare the residence for each guest. We cannot state enough how factually inaccurate and false her claims are. We are sorry to learn that she says she fell in the property, but we simply have to be honest and state that 1) no other guest has ever reported any such slip or fall and 2) there were no conditions in the property that contributed to her fall. We hope that she fully recovers fully and feels better soon. However, we will never rent to this person again and we urge all hosts to absolutely never rent to this person and cancel any attempt she makes to book any property. She should be completely removed from this platform and any other platform of this kind. People like this simply make costs higher for other high quality guests. People like Anne B. are detrimental to this industry and should not be allowed to use such a platform as VRBO.
