A very comfortable property in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The duplex was immaculate and well appointed. The owner has the communication and check-in/out process perfected. A 45-minute streetcar ride to Canal St. A parking space in front of the property. We would most definitely stay here again. Excellent stay.

Pleasantly perfect

We were very pleased with our 4 night stay in this home. The location was on a small very quiet side street and had a neighborly feel. Street parking was available right in front at all times and the street car is very accessible. We are familiar with New Orleans and enjoyed being very very close to our Loyola student’s apartment around the corner. The home was clean and comfortable, while modestly decorated. The owner was in contact to make sure we had what we needed and we felt welcomed! Thanks for the stay.

small family tourist experience

This was a perfect little house for our stay! It was my husband, myself and 16 year old daughter. This was perfect because with this shotgun house you enter the front door into the living room, then the main bedroom, then the kitchen, then another bedroom, then the bathroom. It was clean and had everything we needed! We felt safe, also. It was near the street car that we could walk to and take to the French Quarter. It was also located where we could walk to several different types of restaurants and a bakery. Just walking and looking at the houses, a couple schools, and just the neighborhood was quite an interesting and nice experience. Our neighbor was very charming and informative. She was willing to give us a lot of suggestions and information.

Nice stay in New Orleans.

Very nice and clean Duplex. The place has everything you need to cook meals. The neighborhood is good and felt safe. Not central, but out of the very busy areas of New Orleans. It took us 15 minutes by car to go to the touristic places. No communication issues, easy parking in front of the house for our car. Would rent again without hesitation.

This was a perfect spot for myself and my teenage daughter. We were visiting Tulane and this was so much better than staying in a hotel. The place was clean, quiet, comfortable and in a great location. I could see myself living in this neighborhood. There is a full length mirror which is super important when traveling with a teenager. There was even some dry shampoo which was really cool. The streetcar is very close and definitely worth a ride but it's not a fast way to travel. It was fun riding it all the way to the French Quarter but it did take probably almost an hour each way. I enjoyed the neighborhood we stayed in much more. There are good restaurants within walking distance and we always felt safe. The neighbors are very nice. Lisa was helpful with suggestions. I kind of don't want to tell people how great this place is because I want it to be available next time we come. I will definitely stay here again as we prepare to have a student at Tulane!

Wonderful location for families

This sweet little shotgun style house is perfect for a small family wanting to enjoy the charm of New Orleans away from the downtown scene. The neighbor is so kind and welcoming. She showed us through the house upon arrival and enjoyed visiting with the kids while watching the squirrels eat from the feeders she filled for them. Every other time I’ve come to NOLA, we’ve stayed in or around the French Quarter, but I’m so glad we chose to stay in Uptown.The house was super clean, beds were comfy, and Brad is incredibly responsive. Can’t wait to stay again.

A fantastic stay!

My sister and I live in different states so we met at the airport in New Orleans. This rental was perfect for us. It is in a great neighborhood very close to the St. Charles streetcar route, allowing access to uptown and downtown locations, including the French Quarter. Being a 100 year old shotgun style home, you enter into the living room, followed by the first bedroom, then the kitchen and then another bedroom and finally, the bathroom. The whole house was so bright, clean and sunny and the neighborhood was very quiet. Another nice thing about this place was our neighbor, Lisa. She is the owner’s sister and was so friendly and welcoming. Our conversations with her added to our great experience. While we were there, the shower head failed and we contacted the owner who replaced it that morning while we were out. Very responsive. We had rented a car but the proximity to the streetcar line, made it unnecessary. In all we had a wonderful week’s stay and would love to stay at this place again when we return to New Orleans.

Great Stay

We stayed here overnight to visit New Orleans and we enjoyed our stay! The home was quaint, clean, and was easy to locate. One of the biggest perks was the neighbor next door. She shared very useful tips for where to eat, safety precautions when visiting the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, and was extremely friendly! As someone who is unfamiliar with New Orleans, this was extremely appreciated! Also appreciated the information left by the owner for guides, facemasks, and the extra set of keys if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Book it!

We were so impressed with the property and with the host. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and when being in New Orleans we saw a few of the other places we looked at and were so glad we stayed here. We love history and learning about different cultures, we aren't big bars and clubs so this was perfect for us. It is on the end of the streetcar line so it is easy to get places. It was a quiet area and we were there on July 4. Our host was amazing. Brad helped us feel comfortable and answered our texts immediately. He had great suggestions and was friendly. This property and the host were one of the highlights of our trip for sure!
