Everything about this property is amazing! I had the best time with the animals, the hosts were so nice and personable. Very considerate, the apartment was clean and had everything I needed. The room is clean, comfortable, and contains everything one might need or want. The location is ideal - an upscale residential neighborhood convenient to all of Thousand Oaks. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and even shared some of their lemon crop! The one drawback we discovered is the patio is basically unusable due to the constant, fierce traffic noise. We anticipated having morning coffee outside but that was not possible. The interior of the unit is very quiet, however. We adapted and enjoyed our stay.

We also appreciate your honest feedback about the patio noise. Being near the freeway is something we know can affect guests differently; for some, it fades into the background like white noise, while for others, as it seems was the case for you, it can be more disruptive. While we unfortunately can’t change the freeway itself, we are considering adding a fountain and other features to help soften and absorb some of the sound outdoors. We’re very happy to hear the interior of the unit remained quiet and that you were still able to adapt and enjoy your stay overall. Clean and nice place. We had to accommodate some work they were having done I feel should have been done when no guests were booked. They should have taken down the listing for a day or two bs booking the space and inconveniencing paying guests. It wasn’t a big deal, but shouldn’t have been needed when paying what we did. Also l, they made a note to tell us about a small stop of wood trim that want installed but not the fact that the shower door handle was broken and looked like it had been for some time. These are not picky, but they are the reason for a 4 vs 5 star review.

Another Great Stay!

This is my 3rd week staying at the property and it’s been amazing! Room is always clean, the beds super comfy and the owners are very kind and thoughtful. I’ve been staying here while attending training courses. Would highly recommend!

This is our favorite VRBO place to stay. The owners are onsite, very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is beautiful and full of friendly people. The kitchen and the outdoor space make meal prep easy.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just what we needed for a family event. The neighborhood was nice for walking our dog and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals in the back of the property . Larry was particularly friendly!We will be back the next time we visit the area!

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. It’s inbetween everything from beach to city with very good restaurants and shopping districts. The owners were very respectful of our privacy and there were toiletries and other things kindly offered. At the end of our stay we were able to pay a visit to Larry and bob(the respectful one) along with the goats and chickens.
