Casa Vista Cielo is a sprawling 3-bedroom home that sits high in the hills in the gated residential community of Ladera del Mar. Enjoy sweeping views of Playas del Coco and the Pacific Ocean from this private and secluded home with a beautiful outdoor space that spans the length of the house.

Ladera del Mar is a large residential community that sits just before the town of Playas del Coco. The home is just a 25-minute drive from Guanacaste International airport (LIR). From the development, you are just a 5-minute drive to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and shops. Just 3 minutes more and you’re at the ocean with several beachfront restaurants and a main street lined with shops, restaurants, and fruit vendors. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation! ⁣

Enter from the U-shaped driveway inside the gated yard. The home opens to the large living, dining, and kitchen area with soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows and patio doors that offer unmatched views of the ocean and the mountains surrounding the home. The living room has a comfortable sofa plus 2 reclining chairs and a flat-screen smart TV. The dining table seats 4, or dine al fresco at the covered outdoor table for 6. The beautiful kitchen features breakfast bar seating for 4 and all of the amenities of home including a gas cooktop, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The kitchen is open to the living space with beautiful ocean views beyond.

Outside, the private outdoor space encompasses the entire length of the house. The area begins with a covered space with a dining table that seats 6 and a large gas BBQ. This area is just steps from the beautiful infinity-edge pool with 180-degree views of the countryside and the ocean, and a pergola with lounge chairs.

The north wing of the home has a large bedroom with a King bed, flatscreen TV, and patio doors that open to the covered terrace area. Just off the bedroom is a full bathroom with access from the pool deck. There is also a separate laundry room with a stackable washer/dryer.

Pass through the living space to the south wing of the home with 2 additional bedrooms. The first has a King bed and flatscreen TV with beautiful pool and ocean views through the wall of windows and patio doors. There is a spacious walk-in closet and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower stall PLUS a standalone bathtub. At the end of the hall is the 3rd bedroom, also with oceanviews and a full ensuite bathroom.

This stunning home is perfect for those looking to enjoy peace and tranquility, surrounded by lush, tropical landscape … while still being just a quick drive to great amenities and restaurants in the area.

Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with!  The home is perched high in the hills of the development and is not accessible by foot or golf cart. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver.
