Lovely Hosts, Poor Cleaning Standards

The location of this home in Davenport was perfect for our trip — close enough to Disney (about 25 minutes) and not too far from the airport. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house itself is very spacious and beautifully staged, which initially gave a great impression. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive — the kind of people you want to rent from.However, the cleanliness of the house left a lot to be desired. Surfaces throughout the home were noticeably dirty, the laminate floors hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the bathrooms, sinks, and even the dining table didn’t appear to have been wiped down or disinfected. If there’s a cleaning crew, they aren’t doing the job — and it showed. It was disappointing, especially considering how nicely the space is set up. A few step stools for families with kids ages 4-6 would be nice for helping kids reach the sinks to wash hands and brush teeth would be a bonus. This home has great potential, but it desperately needs a deep clean (walls, baseboards, bathrooms, even dishes) and better post-checkout maintenance. We made the best of it since we were mostly out and about, but I couldn’t wait to leave by the end of the stay.

Amazing Host!!! Carlos & Natachas, truly let their guest know they care! Beautiful home!

The Host has put a lot of detail in this property! Themed rooms etc. Photos of the property are accurate! Their property is beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood, that felt safe. There was more than enough space to accommodate for our family vacation! The private splash pool is amazing, there is also a nice playground area directly behind the pool area that’s public to the neighborhood. The ping pong table was a favorite with the kids as well. There were some issues during our stay. However, keep in mind that this isn’t a home that’s lived in by the Host. They service out, cleaning etc. They were not aware of these issues until they were brought to their attention. With that being said, they listened to my concerns and did all within their power to correct any issues and concerns we had. They are more than accommodating and we truly couldn’t have asked for better communication!

Super cute themed vacation home.

We were impacted by the most recent storm and would be without power for over a week. I reached out to them and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Communication was quick and they are the nicest people I’ve spoken to on this app. My kids loved the house and the themed rooms. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the pool. You are fairly close to Disney and can hear the fireworks sometimes. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with a short drive to grocery, restaurants.

I loved staying at this house. The host was very sweet and helpful. We love the pool, & the grill. My daughter was in love with the themed rooms! Also, we were so happy that it was pet friendly! The hosts thought of everything that you could need while staying there. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be staying at this house!

Pros: Excellent communication, dog friendly (be sure to message them directly about the dogs and pay the fee separately), safe and nice neighborhood, close to stores, good space for a large family, nice game room( too hot for summer months), washer and dryer, smart TV’s Cons: Pool and pool area were filthy (nothing like the pics). It was cleaned the day before we checked out. Also, I understand the need for security and the cameras aren’t pointing at the pool, but cameras near that space feel a little invasive. Master shower floor is dipping and you have to shower in standing water and it’s moldy due to poor drainage. We could not get consistently hot water in there either. Nightstand, shelf behind toilet, and toilet paper holder are falling apart. Garage has a “watch your step sign” on the floor that was covered by a mat and I smashed my toe into the lip of the step taking off my toenail and bruising my big toe. That was very inconvenient for walking around Disney.

The property was nice but in need of some minor upgrades. I liked having close access to a little playground for my toddler. The property manager was very communicative and allowed us to stay an extra day for a low cost. One thing to note is that the property was light on “communal” items you’d expect such as butter, olive oil, detergent, trash bags, coffee, condiments, etc. So account for that, and bring your own. The home was pretty clean but definitely needs some updating. I didn’t like the seating in the TV area. They should add a large sofa and some comfy chairs to relax in the tv room, after long days in the theme park. There is a separate living area (with no tv) for additional seating, but we know people tend to gather around the tv. One other con is that they said they’d put the pool gate up for us but did not. At least they have one, but I like for them to be up as an extra precaution (toddler). Some more pros are that the beds were comfortable, home was spacious, and there was a Publix very close by. Solid 4 out of 5 stars for me.

We enjoyed our stay, however we chose to stay at a home that had a pool so our son could swim but it was nasty the very first day, the next day someone came and cleaned it but they didn’t do very well, so we didn’t get to swim. The pictures on VRBO were very nice and clean looking but once we arrived we noticed that the home is not very clean. I would say that I wouldn’t stay there again, however the owner was very nice

Great home really recommend

This home is one of the best vacation homes I’ve stayed that so far. The way the home was clean and decorated made my family and I feel at home. We took our dog to the trip and she loved the home as well. The pool was nice and the park near the home was great as well. For anyone thinking about renting out this home I recommend 100%. The communication with the owners was easy as well and we all enjoyed our time.

Spring Break Getaway

My family and I which was 2 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 9 had a wonderful time in the home. The kids loved coming home to the pool everyday and playing with the ping pong table and pool table. Everyone had enough space so we weren’t on top of each other. The house is exactly as described and was very clean. The owners are very easy to work with and extremely nice. We can’t wait to come back and visit.

Home away from home

We booked in January for one we of spring break but we needed to add 2 days on to the beginning of our trip. The hosts were able to add on our two days on with no issues, they were very accommodating for our request. We checked in at 4 p.m., just like it says we can on Vrbo. We found the house to be clean and welcoming. The kids rooms were cute one in a Mickey Theme and the other with Harry Potter. The adult rooms were inviting and calm. The kitchen had everything we needed to use for cooking or baking. We did cook a few nights and the appliances all worked as expected. The garage has both a pool table and ping pong table, we played lots of pool. The washer and dryer were also in the garage and were clean and easy to use. The pool was heated and we all determined it was in a cute penguin shape. The grill worked and the patio was nice to hang out on when the kids were swimming and the hubby was grilling. The master bedroom has a large walk in cloaet and the shower was wonderdul. The hosts were amazing with thier communication. The let us know when the pool maintenance was going to be there and what was taking place. There were really no issues to report, they even provided a code so our teenage boy could watch March Madness. To him.that was very important. The house has plenty of room to spread out or to hang out watching a movie or play a board gsme. We visit this area yearly and wish we would have found this house and hoat sooner. We will definitely book again in the future

Our gang of 6 adults had an absolute blast staying at Natacha & Carlos. The moment we walked in, we couldn't believe how spacious and stylish the place was - even the kids' rooms were decked out in the cutest decor! The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up some delicious meals, and with 2 living rooms, we could easily split up if half of us wanted to binge-watch TV and the other half wanted some peace and quiet. After a day of cheering on my son's college team at the ball field, coming back to the patio and pool was pure bliss. The location was perfect for hitting up nearby attractions, and the owner was a gem - super friendly and responsive to all our questions. All in all, this vacation rental was a dream come true. Five stars from all of us - we'll definitely be back!

Perfect for our family and best host!

The property was exactly as described in the listing, and provided our family, with the perfect mix of proximity to the parks, a get away from the hustle and bustle, and great overall value. The host was by far the most responsive I’ve ever dealt with on Vrbo. The pool was the perfect size for our smaller kiddos. The back patio provided a nice place to escape. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house perfect for families on vacation

This property was beautiful and clean. The hosts were very responsive and helpful! The themed rooms were perfect to get us in the mood for Universal Studios & Disney! My kids LOVED the heated pool! It was perfect bath water temperature to help melt away our Midwest colds even in January! Thanks again!
