During winter months ,Pool heating is optional fee is $75 for 3-7 days,$125 for 2 week stay and $200 for a month stay. In general, the heater can raise the water temperature approximately 10-15 °F above the current air temperature. So if it's 70 °F (21 °C) outside, you can expect the pool to reach 80-85 °F (27-29 °C) within a day or two of turning on the heater.

It's important to understand the heater is designed to take the chill out of the water, not transform the pool into a hot tub or a warm bath! The goal is a comfortable swimmable temperature when it's cooler out.

While we wish we could guarantee a specific pool temperature, it ultimately depends on weather. Cool, wet and windy conditions limit potential heat output. You can expect the mid to high 80s on warmer days and 70s on cooler days.

On a 60 °F (16 °C) day, the water will likely max out around 70-75 °F (21-24 °C), still brisk for some, but tolerable for a quick dip. When the mercury drops further at night, the heater may only keep it in the low 70s.

We loved the place. It is setup with everything you are going to need for your stay and even more. We had one issue of my making. The owner responded quickly and told me how to resolve the issue. Whenever, I had a question, he was always to respond and eager to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. If we ever have another extended stay in Davenport again, we will definitely check to see, if the house is available. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great stay and super great location

My wife and I stayed at this property and enjoyed our visit. This house has all the amenities that you will need and I would highly recommend this property. In fact, I plan on renting this property for all my future trips in the Davenport/Orlando area. I can see what the host is a Super Host!

Wonderful stay

This house was perfect. It was exactly like the picture. We really enjoyed the heated pool. If we had a problem and had to contact the owner they took care of the problem immediately. We were there for three months and hated to leave.

Home away from home!

This home is everything and more than we expected! From the heated pool, most comfortable beds/furniture, and even down to the tiniest details of kitchen appliances such as a waffle maker and griddle! The back yard looks like a post card with its view over the wetlands and beautiful cypress trees. Would 110% recommend to family and friends.

Awesome house

This was a wonderful family get away to Disney! The house was spotless and decorated elegantly. The hosts were very responsive and made everything effortless for us. It’s cold this year round but we were still able to go swimming as the pool is heated! I will definitely be back.

This house

From the beds to the kitchen everything was supplied the home is very clean and welcoming we drive from Colorado every year and have to stay I'm glad I chose this house this year the neighborhood is very quiet the only time we seen anyone really was on halloween the house had all the spices, coffee, laundry detergent dish soap you name it besides food it was there thank you again hope to stay next year

Nice neighbors, busy area.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Ridge. We had to ask for the 5th bedroom to be opened, which was done quickly. Loved having a heated pool, but it really needs a skimmer if you are staying 10 weeks as we did. Beds were very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. It was not up to my expectations for cleanliness. Dust bunnies around beds and much debris and dirt behind couch.All in all, a nice house to stay at and big enough to have family and friends visit.

Nice vacation home

The property itself was nice. Houses are very close, but the only time we saw people is while we were outside at the pool. The house was clean and well appointed. It was nice having the cooking essentials and tea/coffee already there. It was clean, but the pool could've been cleaner upon our arrival. There was no chlorine during the week we were there, the water was slightly cloudy and it could've used a quick vacuuming. The only issue I had with the rental was that the cover page of the rental advertised 5 bedrooms, but the description's final sentence, which I don't recall reading when I booked the property, states the 5th bedroom is available only at an extra charge. Having no couples on this trip, we really needed 5 bedrooms. One of us slept on the couch. However, the owner did offer to drive over to open the fifth bedroom. Given the over an hour drive for them, we decided to forgo the 5th bedroom.
