Welcome to the Beachcomber! Your home away from home in the heart of southwest Michigan. This newer construction home provides a great open layout overlooking the patio and private backyard.

Built on 1 acre of land and surrounded by its own mini forest. A large deck and patio for dining and grilling. There is a natural fire pit in the backyard and an additional fire pit great for s’mores in side yard. Plenty of space for playing soccer and yard games.
Open layout kitchen and family room with a formal dining room. Four bedroom upstairs. A large basement with air hockey and another media area for movies and video games. Pull out sleeper sofa. Full bath.
We are located just a mile away from beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, minutes away from shopping and restaurants in Stevensville. 5 miles to Saint Joseph. Grand Mere hiking trails, public golf courses. Close to Warren Dunes, wineries, breweries, top notch restaurants and shops.

Great stay. 7 adults stayed 3 nights and we had plenty of room for everything we wanted to do. We had one minor issue with the thermostat while we were there and the owner / manager responded with a fix immediately. No Complaints!

This is our second time staying at the property. The backyard is incredible and perfect for getting takeout and enjoying the outdoors. An easy drive from st joes and Warren dunes.tons of kids toys in the basement - an added bonus!

Beautiful property. Beds were comfortable. More towels needed for a group of 10 would be nice. The deck and property were so nice. Two tables and plenty of chairs for all. For added pleasure we’re seeing black squirrels and a family of friendly turkey's.I would definitely recommend this place..

We stayed here over the weekend with family. The home is comfortable and the basketball hoop and the air hockey table were a huge hit with our boys. Love the spacious back yard. The beds are really comfy also!

Close to beaches

Great location to great dining, great beaches and great golf! We had 8 adults and 2 kids so size of the home was perfect! Great outdoor space our own games and had open fires every night. Recommended to all.

Convenient Location!

Perfect Getaway

This beautiful, big home in Southwest Michigan is the perfect spot for a family vacation. Just a 5 minute drive to Meijer and a 10 minute drive to Silver Beach and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Plenty of space for the kids and a nice back porch to gather and have meals. Would highly recommend for your next family visit to SW Michigan!

Family vacation in St. Joseph

Spacious clean house for families with kids. Loved the deck in the back with swing set, hammock and fire pit and a basketball net in front. Lots of room for kids to run around. Lots to do in the area we had a great time! Thank you!

Comfortable and 'like home'

This property exceeded expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort - all the beds and bedding were great quality. We appreciated the many amenities offered by the host - great appliances and countertop appliances, a grill in excellent working order, if we'd had little ones, they'd have had a ball at the house. We used to live in the area, so we knew what would be available, and I can tell you the location is ideal. We would absolutely stay again.

Family Gathering

We enjoyed the beautiful and spacious home and the great back and front yard with the fire pits and hammock. The kids and the adults enjoyed playing basketball and badminton. My grandson loved exploring the mini forest. Our stay was most comfortable at the house, we only went out to eat once, we enjoyed just hanging out at home.

Great space for family

The accommodations and layout of the property was excellent for an extended family of 10. Everyone had a great time playing games and visiting inside and outside. Great deck to enjoy while watching the kids and grilling. We had hoped to walk to Glenlord Beach in the morning but chose the more scenic walks on the beach. The house was close to Lake Michigan and we spent each day at Silver Beach. Great place for a family vacation in southwest Michigan.

Perfect place for a family

A great stay at this home. The pictures depict it very well although since the photos have been taken the owners added a great railing around the deck, too. The backyard is a great size and shaded in the afternoon (August/September). The house was set up perfect for families with toys in the downstairs and a swing set in the backyard. Beds are soft but comfortable. Nice stove and pans for cooking. Would highly recommend and would stay here again! About 10 mins from silver beach and 15 from Warren dunes! Host was responsive and helpful.

Vaca 2025

It is a beautiful house with plenty of space. Check in was super easy and the kids had a blast. We could have used some kitchen dish cloths because there were none in the kitchen. Also needed more toilet paper (only 4 rolls for 10 people), the outdoor grill needed to be cleaned (we would have done that but there weren't any grill cleaning tools to do that). There wasn't enough bath towels for 10 people especially when you have 4 children with you. The basement bathroom needs a rug. The bathtub in the master bedroom did not have any warm/hot water. So all things said we made everything work and we did enjoy our family vacation. A lot of laughs and happy family time.

It was a nice property, close to things that we were doing. It was clean and well maintained. There needed to be a few more supplies, from time to time, but the host was super responsive. It worked well for my friends' and their families.
