Perched atop Red Hill with panoramic Mount Sopris views, The Chef’s Chalet is a five-bedroom, three-bath culinary retreat with three kitchens, two hot tubs, and 2,500 sq ft of deck. Designed by a celebrity chef, it’s a space built for gathering, unwinding, and savoring both the landscape and life—just minutes from downtown Carbondale yet worlds away from the everyday.
If these walls could talk, they’d tell stories of recipes shared, glasses raised, and mountain sunsets watched from a seat near the fire. Welcome to The Chef’s Chalet, a two-level sanctuary designed by a local renowned celebrity chef —whose culinary legacy includes cooking for the likes of Mariah Carey and Jon Bon Jovi. It’s part kitchen cathedral, part alpine haven.
On the main floor, you’ll find a chef’s kitchen built for true gourmands, flanked by open-concept living and dining spaces that spill out onto 2,500 sq ft of deck. Watch the game or a classic film on the 83" outdoor TV. Grill under the stars in the fully-equipped outdoor kitchen or soak in the hot tub gazing out at your natural setting. Dine al fresco with Mount Sopris as your backdrop. Two cozy guest bedrooms and a full bath round out this welcoming level.
Upstairs, the master suite offers a king bed with mountain views, a deep-soaking jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and a private gym and office space—ideal for both sunrise workouts and slow, thoughtful mornings.
Downstairs, the second living area functions like a standalone home: two more bedrooms, a full bath, a kitchen of its own, a gas fireplace, and a private deck with its own hot tub. The couch features a pull out sofa bed for two additional travelers. Recently updated with A/C, it’s your cool refuge in summer’s warmth and a snug retreat in the snow.
