The Luxury Loft in Anchorage
This South Anchorage loft has more outdoor deck space than living space! Enjoy the 1000 sqft, fully furnished community deck with a firepit, hammock, lounge chairs and dining table. Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom with mood lighting and jetted tub. Sleep soundly in a 16 in. memory foam bed. Desk space with excellent wifi for remote workers. Walkable to local resturants and coffee kioskis. Alaska Railroad Train comes right through the neighborhood! Perfect safe neighborhood for dog walkers and families with a park 2 blocks away with a full jungle gym, tennis court, sitting/BBQ area and sunset view of the inlet! Plenty of parking. Excellent wifi for remote workers. Dog friendly! 10 minutes from the airport!
This 3rd story loft apartment is great for 2 to 3 people. 1 private bedroom and a sofa pull out. We have many extra amenities like Bluetooth, Alexa, bathroom speakers, extra long jetted bathtub and A/C! We love to travel and share our experiences in the home.
The loft is very cozy inside, but the outside is the place to be! A huge open deck to enjoy the sun, BBQ or have a cozy evening at the fire pit. Our lower deck has a 6 person hot tub that is VERY maintained and cleaned regularly. The outdoor areas of the decks, yard and parking ARE shared with other guests staying at the house. The areas are uniquely spaced so you rarely cross paths with others, but it is fun to meet others from all over and share your Alaska stories and maybe even get some tips!
This is also dog friendly home! Please be aware if you have any allergies.
You will climb many outdoor stairs to get to the top! Please be aware of the conditions if you have any concerns.
***PRICES are REDUCED in the winter months due to deck area and firepit is not accessible in the winter. Its too cold out! The hot tub is still accessible with a short walk down the steps to the lower deck. The hot tub is shared with another unit on the middle floor but it rarely used by our tenant.***

For this loft the guests will have access to their private unit on the 3rd floor, parking, outdoor side yard (poop free and not fully fenced in) back yard that is fully fenced in (mostly used for dogs) large upper deck with amenities, lower deck with hot tub.

Please take a look at our binder provided in the unit for instruction and guidance! And I have left many notes around the place that are very helpful for tips in each room and their features.
The south side of Anchorage is the hidden gem location for those who like to live like a local! Walk just up the street to a diner (South Sife Bistro) or coffee kioski. Safeway/Carrs grocery store is 30 seconds away via car! Same with banks, gas stations, some fast food stops, local resturants and more. I have been told this is very convenient from past guests who like to cook from home. We are located on the very edge of town, going South out of Anchorage to places like Girdwood, Portage Glacier/Whittier, Kenai, Seward and Homer. If you plan on heading south on your Alaska adventures, trust me when I tell you being on the edge of town really helps with getting ahead of traffic from everyone in town! The famous coast of Cook Inlet Alaska is just minutes from our home and is a beautiful scenic view of our mountains and reflective bay. It is truly a site to see! Walk to Oceanview Park with a full jungle gym for kids, tennis court, sitting bbq area and open space for dogs. An addtional entrance to the park has a nice sunset view of the bluff. You will see and hear the Alaska Railroad train down 2 neighborhood blocks from the house! The neighborhood is known for many joggers, dog walkers and extremetly safe.
The best way to see the beauty of Alaska is to have a vehicle. We are a HUGE state and to really see its beauty, you want a car.
Most of the tourist attractions and pick up locations for tours are located downtown, which you can get to on the highway in about 15 to 20 minutes.
The outdoor spaces are shared
Dog friendly, must pick up after pets and only used fenced in back yard area. Fees may incur.
Hot tub is shared with 1 other unit. Please be respectable to others and make some friends!
You may have someone staying below you. Potential noise from other guests is possible.
