Disappointed
I use your service often and am currently staying in a VRBO. Usually it's a breeze but this time it was different. After I booked the house I got a message from the managing agency that I needed to send many more documents and come into the office before 4 o'clock the day of the check in. I had to send licenses, bills and was met with even more questions. I know this is not a VRBO problem but maybe there is a warning that can come up when you deal with this specific property management company. It's unfortunate because I finally moved from my previous go to property in Davenport to stay in this house and it has completely turned me off.
The hurricane was unforeseen and I know I could have taken the cancelation insurance so that is on me. I never made it to the property because I was advised not to drive into Florida with the hurricane most likely tracking across the property and gas being hard to find and it would be safer for me not to be an other person in Florida during these trying times. I am glad many people are safe. I hoping for some understanding of why I did not use the property and maybe get a credit or maybe some of the money refunded (like the cleaning fee). The local person that communicated with me was very attentive and prompt even during these trying times, it was the upper management that made me reconsider my options next time.
