Welcome to the Historic Westwood Retreat, a relaxing 1920s themed home in the prestigious and safe Emerywood neighborhood. This home has been recently remodeled, can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests and offers 5 bedrooms and 2 baths with flat screen TVs in each bedroom including a 65' flat screen TV in the living room with complimentary Netflix. Minutes to High Point University, HP Furniture Market, High Point Country Club and the new Rockers Baseball Stadium.



The Space:

The 1920s are memorable for a lot of reasons: WWI was over, the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was ratified, "The Great Gatsby" was published and Art Deco style decor reigned supreme. With the end of WWI a renewed sense of optimism and economic prosperity brought new wealth, luxury, and glamour. After a challenging 2020 and 2021 we hope to bring back the same optimistic sentiment and indulge in a new age of roaring 20s where families and friends can gather and laugh again! We have decorated our home with this sentiment in mind and look forward to hosting you!



About Our Home:



- 5 beds and 2 baths. 3 of the bedrooms are downstairs, including 1 with a King bed, another with 2 queen beds and another with 1 queen bed. All 3 bedrooms downstairs share a newly remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower and unique 1920s style vanity. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one which has a queen bed and day bed and another with 2 queen beds. All rooms offer comfortable memory foam mattresses and Smart TVs with complimentary Netflix. Most rooms come fully equipped with a desk/chair for dedicated working spaces.



-Downstairs offers an updated kitchen, granite countertops and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with the basic tools for cooking. We offer a single-serve Keurig, coffee pods, French Press, kettle and tea. Large dining room located next to the kitchen with seating for 10 - great for family gatherings and dinners.



-Spacious living area with a decorative fireplace and Smart TV with complimentary Netflix. You will have the ability to login to your personal streaming accounts as well. Hardwood floors throughout and wonderful back patio area with an abundance of seating and a propane grill.



- Laundry on the first floor next to the kitchen. Fully equipped with washer, dryer, detergent, ironing board and iron.



- WiFi: High-speed internet with 400 mbps advanced speed (perfect for getting a little work done while you’re away)



- On-site parking: Large driveway which can comfortably fit 5-6 cars.
