In the Heart of It All
This property is within walking distance to the Country Club Plaza and just a short drive from some of Kansas City’s most popular districts, including Westport, the 39th Street District, Crown Center, Union Station, and the downtown Power and Light District. The southernmost KC Streetcar stop is steps from your front door, so you can explore almost all of Kansas City without worrying about parking!
Dining Destinations Nearby
You’ll find several highly-rated local eateries just steps away, including Pizza 51, Mission Taco Joint, Crows Coffee, and Duck and Roll Chinese. The Historic Country Club Plaza
Designed as the country’s first suburban shopping district intended for automobile traffic, the Country Club Plaza was the vision of developer J.C. Nichols. Inspired by Spanish marketplaces, Nichols began developing the area in 1907 and opened the first Plaza buildings in 1922. Once dismissed as “Nichols’ Folly,” the Plaza is now one of the city’s most celebrated areas, known for its unique Moorish architecture and more than $1 million in public artwork, including fountains, murals, and over 30 statues.
Culture and Museums
Just minutes away, you can explore world-class museums such as The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and the National Museum of Toys and Miniatures located on the UMKC campus.
