Our home features spacious open-plan living to enjoy time together or find a quiet nook for yourself. Relax on the 3 porches or take a walk to the gazebo (w/firepit), and watch out for cheeky deer wandering through! Family Fun and Relaxation

The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. The hosts were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating we've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!

Great place to stay

We stayed at The Canopy for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. It was a great location just minutes away so it made everything so easy to get to. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to come back and visit the area again. Marilyn is very responsive to anything we asked and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Cool Weather

Secluded setting

This property gives you a lot of privacy. Lovely home and very clean with most everything you could wish for. Highlands, NC is an easy drive away and would highly recommend the Dillard House Restuarant if staying there.

Amazing getaway in Sky Valley!

We had a wonderful stay at the canopy! Everything was nice and clean, the hosts were very accommodating, and the home offered plenty to do for a family of 6. Not to mention, it’s a short and scenic drive to places like the Highlands and other local attractions. I’ll definitely look this place up if we’re ever back in the area!

Perfect place for a mountain getaway!

We wanted to beat the heat and came to the mountains for a few days. This place is beautifully appointed, well stocked, and centrally located for summer mountain activities. We had a couple days of rain and the porch provided a great reading location. We loved our time here.

We enjoyed the home tucked away in the mountains and had easy access to several hiking trails. The sauna was great at the end of a long hike. Beautifully appointed home and great attention to details. Enjoyed all the area and this home had to offer. Spacious and warm.
