What a great old school beach cottage and location! Located on a quiet tree-lined street just 4 blocks to the beach and less than a half mile to the pier and village area, this little cottage will suit you fine for your St Simons trip.

Close to all the action. You will enjoy this 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow and all the recent upgrades. Brand new wrap-around decks - ideal for sitting in the shade and reading your favorite beach novel or perfect for afternoon cocktails. This unit sleeps 5 with a king in the master bedroom and one full and one twin in the guest bedroom. Located only 4 blocks to the beach and less than 1/2 mile to the pier and village area!

The location is good. The home itself it dated and things are... not so updated. The fridge was leaning back against the wall (not straight) and the 3-prong plug had been plugged into an adapter (?) to be able to fit the 2-prong outlet of the home. I think the fridge has a grounding plug for a reason. The counter addition in the kitchen has to be lifted up to get the dishwasher to fully close. A "starter" supply of toilet paper 2 rolls. The beds were clean and relatively comfortable. There is no exhaust/ ventilation fan in the bathroom which really adds to the humidity in the house. Its a duplex and at times we could hear the neighbors, but I never felt it was disruptive. There is very little yard or covered area outside to store bikes, FYI, but the walk to the beach was totally manageable with 2 kids.

Not Properly maintained. I suffer a slip and fall accident.Only a dirt walk from parking to entrance. Parking area hot lit or paved with conc. or stone. Internet and TV went out last several days we were there. We purchased a first aid, a no slip mat for shower, electric outlets were mostly old two prongs and would not hold plug. Fire extinguisher not in a visible location, no clock or alarm clock radio hole in door which I fixed with a paste on doorknob bumper. Purchased small tool kit, three kinds of tape, some box cutter type knives, a scissor, multi out for behind TV, USB/AC connector all of which we left there. Also no Vacuum. all cutting knives in a wood block holder on counter need to be sharpened. no grab bar in shower. In short, this unit is not ready for rental

Convenient Location

Convenient location to the beach, lighthouse and local shops. Five minute walk to the beach. Ten minute walk to the lighthouse and shops. Five minute drive if you prefer to drive. We enjoyed the lighthouse and the pier.

Amazing weekend exploring St Simons

The stay was great!! Wonderful weekend going to Jekyll and st Simons!!! My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Hair all over the bathroom floor and shower walls.

Great location, beautiful beaches, wonderful vibe

The unit was great for our family of 4. Comfortable beds and living room furniture, kitchen well-equipped, and everything nice and clean. Bathroom was great and roomy with lots of fresh towels, but needed a little attention, for instance needs a new shower curtain and the drains were slow. The location was perfect for us! Easy to navigate out of the neighborhood to shopping and Brunswick/Jekyll and the beach was a 6-7 min walk. On days we did drive to the beach, we always found parking. Very family oriented spot with great food and people!

Super cute apartment minutes from the beach. Quiet and comfortable. The water comes company left a large indent in the driveway. I broke my ankle the first day. Otherwise, it was lovely.

Fun beach house

Basic beach house. We had a great time. Good location. It is good to bring a golf chart. It is a little to far to walk to the beach on hot days. The house had all basic necessities. It does need a few things. The bake button on the oven is very hard to push. There is a drip from air-condition vent in master bedroom. Also there needs to be some landscaping rocks or stones around the outdoor shower up to the door. Dispirite these minor things it was a great little plce.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a duplex with thin walls and the groaning and other noises from that side scared the kids. My daughter is allergic to mold and adter being in this house for one night, had swollen, watering eyes, clogged sinuses and couldn't breathe. I get a migraine and nauseous with mold exposure and by the second night was sick. After leaving and by the 9th hour, my daughter's eyes had stopped watering and she could breathe. By the next morning, we both felt immemsely better and rested. My husband got up the third night for water and found a family of 3 inch plus cockroaches in the kitchen. The rental company said this is normal. The largest I have ever seen. I've lived in 6 states and rented in more than that ranging from Florida, Texas to the northern tier of North Dakota and I have never seen an infestation like this. Small bugs all over the counters I couldn't identify. In the coffee pot, all over the groceries as soon as we set it down. Bites all over our legs after watching a movie on the couch. Absolutely disgusting. I set off a fogger in the bed of my truck with the luggage before we got home to kill whatever we picked up in that house. Had to decon us and the truck when we got home. Never stay with this company.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. Management company is top-notch. Property is nice with plenty of linens, which is sometimes rare. Just wish there was more than one mirror and that all the electrical outlets worked. Great location!
