Welcome to Pézenas, a designated Town of Art and History, where the spirit of Molière still lingers in the cobbled streets, artists' workshops, historic buildings and lively squares.

Located right in the heart of the historic centre, our 122 m² apartment occupies the first floor of a house whose origins date back to the 16th century.

This is a place that is particularly dear to us: I was born here. After extensive renovation work, we wanted to bring the comfort of today while preserving everything that gives the house its character: the old stonework, generous spaces, traces of the past and, above all, the unique atmosphere of a home with a story to tell.

Ideal for families and groups of friends, the apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests.

And, above all, it has a rather rare feature in the heart of a historic town:

A large games room for children… and grown-ups!

After a day at the beach, exploring Pézenas or discovering the surrounding area, there is no need to look for something to keep everyone entertained.

This is probably one of the features that makes this home quite different from a typical city-centre apartment.

A spacious and comfortable apartment for up to 8 guests

With its 122 m², the apartment offers plenty of room for everyone while retaining inviting shared living spaces.

It includes:

one bedroom with a double bed;

a second bedroom with a double bed;

one bedroom with two single beds;

a separate bunk bed;

a sofa bed in the living room;

one bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet;

a second bathroom with a shower and washbasin;

a separate toilet with washbasin;

a fully equipped kitchen;

a baby cot, high chair and booster seat.

During the warm summer months, fans are provided in all living areas.

Double-glazed windows and the large traditional shutters also help keep the apartment comfortable while preserving the charm and character of this historic home.

A house steeped in history

As you enter, you will be greeted by a large mirror with a rather unusual story.

For more than a century, it welcomed visitors to the Théâtre du Minotaure in Béziers.

It has now found its way into our family home and, in a way, continues its original purpose: welcoming visitors and accompanying their arrival in this historic house.

We love the idea that certain objects can continue their journey through time while beginning a new chapter with our guests.

A privileged location in the heart of Pézenas

Here, you really don't need a car to enjoy Pézenas.

The apartment is located right in the heart of the historic centre, just steps from the shops, artisan workshops, galleries, restaurants and charming little squares.

You will be:

just 30 metres from the birthplace of Boby Lapointe;

only a few steps from galleries and artisan workshops;

right in the heart of Mirondela dels Arts, celebrating local craftsmanship and artistic creation;

less than a 2-minute walk from the famous Saturday market, a true local institution;

around 20 minutes from the sandy Mediterranean beaches;

approximately 30 minutes from Béziers and its airport.

Pézenas is particularly wonderful to explore on foot: open a carriage door, wander down a little street, stop to admire an artisan's shop window or sit down at a café terrace… and simply see where the town takes you.

And what about exploring the surrounding area?

Pézenas is also ideally located for discovering the wider Languedoc region.

Depending on your interests, you can explore:

Sète and the Étang de Thau;

Agde and Cap d'Agde;

Lake Salagou;

Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert;

the vineyards of the Languedoc;

Béziers;

Minerve;

and even Carcassonne.

Beaches, historic towns, picturesque villages, gastronomy, markets, vineyards and nature are all within easy reach of Pézenas.

🚗 Car access and parking

The apartment is located in the historic centre, where vehicle access is regulated.

Access is freely permitted every morning from 6 am to 10 am.

Outside these hours, you will have privileged access to the historic centre using a remote control, which we will provide for the duration of your stay.

Parking directly in the street in front of the property is not permitted, although a short stop is allowed for unloading luggage.

The apartment does not have a private garage.

There are several public car parks nearby. The closest free car park is approximately 450 metres away, around a 6-minute walk.

We will provide you with all the information you need before your arrival to make getting settled in as easy as possible.

A home to enjoy, not simply a place to sleep

We wanted to preserve the soul of this historic house while providing our guests with today's comforts.

Here, you can start the day with a stroll through the streets of Pézenas, spend the afternoon at the beach or exploring a Languedoc village, then come home and gather around a game of pool, foosball or a board game.

A place to discover Pézenas, enjoy the Mediterranean, and most importantly, share real moments together.

We hope that these historic old walls will become, for the duration of your stay, the setting for precious memories with family or friends.
