Two Blocks to Beach and Town and ON Central Park!
Offered for the very first time as a Vacation Rental the historic Parkside duplex has been recently renovated to include all the best amenities. This home sits ON the Cape Charles Central Park, giving you not only wonderful views of the park, but a perfect place for kids to run and play, families to walk, picnic and enjoy all the concerts and park festivals. It is also only two blocks to the beach and two blocks to the historic downtown – truly the best location!
In peak summer we have full weeks available (Sun-Sun) or partial (Sun-Thurs). We will open corresponding weekends once the weekdays book. Follow our instagram account for long weekend openings (Thurs-Sun) @parksidecapecharles.
Parkside is a duplex. Please note that we will ask for guests to be mindful of noise and be respectful of guests in the adjoining property. If you would like to rent both sides please reach out and we will send you the other sides VRBO listing.
The first floor living room has an open living room - dining room floor plan, a wall mounted smart TV, and plenty of seating in both the dining and living area. The kitchen is the perfect size for a family to enjoy meals at home, with plenty of storage space. First floor also has a half bath and laundry area. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a california king bed and a wall mounted TV. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs bathroom is a jack and jill full bath.
One of the best features of this home is the outdoor living spaces.The porch has two deep porch chairs and overlooks the historic Cape Charles school and the park. . The backyard includes a brick patio, seating areas, string lights and overlooks the park. The backyard shed has all the beach gear needed for your stay, yard games and more. The shed also has a flip down smart TV to enjoy your favorite entertainment.
Just added for 2023 - we have large 7x3 1/2 foot private outdoor shower with Hot and Cold water, a spraying wand and plenty of room to wash off your kids.
Parking is on the street. If you are pulling a boat, it is best not to park your boat trailer on the street. Please to contact the Cape Charles Harbor Master for info. to store your boat safely at the Cape Charles Harbor. PHONE # 1-757-331-2357.
The location of Parkside is central to everything in Cape Charles. Once you arrive you can park your car and walk or golf cart everywhere during your stay.
We have an EZ GO golf cart that is available for an additional fee. Cost is $60/day or $300/week. The golf cart is only available to guests staying at Parkside North. Please let us know when you book that you would like to rent the cart with your stay.
A sanitized and clean home will greet you when you arrive. The linens will be fresh, beds will be made up, and bath towels are included. Our heating and cooling systems were just installed in March 2022. We provide all guests with starter paper products, cleaning supplies and laundry supplies. We are also available 24/7 for any issues or concerns should any arise during your stay.
