This charming 4-bedroom 3 bath house is centrally located in the historic district of Cape Charles and features a first-floor bedroom with a king bed and full bath! Originally built in the 1920's, this home has been completely gutted down to the studs and has been carefully rebuilt (completed in 2025).

This beautiful home is just a 2-minute golf cart or bike ride to the beach (10-minute walk). Take a short 1 block stroll and you can indulge at the various bakeries, restaurants and shops located on Mason Ave. Enjoy the playground, pickle ball/tennis courts, soccer fields and summer concerts located less than 2 blocks away at the Cape Charles Central Park.

The open concept kitchen/dining and living area has plenty of light and opens out to the back yard with a porch perfect for dining al fresco, a picnic table and a large fire pit for roasting the perfect s'more.
This delightful house offers 4 bedrooms, including 3 king beds, and 1 bunk bed (twin XL over queen). All bedrooms are equipped with black out shades and white noise machines.

What’s provided: Beds are made with fresh sheets, and each person will receive one towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth. Hand soap is at each sink, and each bathroom gets 2 rolls of TP. The kitchen has 1 roll of paper towels, & 1 sponge.

We are experienced hosts and have had a VRBO at Smith Mountain Lake for the last handful of years in which I've maintained VRBO Premier Host status. Please rest assured that I am experienced and committed to ensuring you have a wonderful experience at our Cape Charles property. ***4-21-2025, keep checking back! In the coming days we will be adding café lights in the back yard and landscaping in the front yard. All bedrooms will have blackout shades and there will be new light filtering shades added to the downstairs living areas.

Please note that we don't allow any parties, events, or pets. Any of the aforementioned will cause you to forfeit any deposit and lead to immediate eviction.

We have two exterior facing ring cams, but there are absolutely NO cameras inside the home.

This property is one-half of a duplex, or "twin-home", but the entry doors are on opposite sides of the home, and the back deck and yard are divided by a privacy wall/fence (see pics).

Please Note:
High-season stays (June through the end of August) require a 7-night minimum, with check-in on Saturdays at 4 PM and check-out the following Saturday by 10 AM.

For the rest of the year, we have a 3-night minimum, and check-in/check-out is available on any day.

If you'd like to request an exception, feel free to reach out — while we can’t guarantee accommodation, we’re sometimes more flexible during the first two weeks of June and the last two weeks of August.

We do not accept stays shorter than 3 nights during the off-season (September through the end of May) due to the high cost of linens.
